This small group tour is much like our award winning "Austin Small Group Morning Walk," but maybe even better! Like the morning walk, we cover Austin's must see favorites like the interior of the Driskill Hotel. However, the afternoon walk is slightly longer at 2 hours and has bonuses like: visiting Tito's Vodka retail/history shop on Lavaca Street, strolling the shores of Ladybird Lake Trail, and discovering the beauty of the iconic Rainey Street district. We'll even give you time to explore! This tour gives you the experience of how we would choose to spend the day as people who know and love the city. In short, you'll get great recommendations!

Love, Tito's
Your tour meets and departs from Love, Tito's on historic Lavaca St., downtown Austin. This quaint retail shop is the only retail outlet for Austin's one and only Tito's Vodka! Now a world wide sensation, Tito's started right here in the Austin area. The helpful and friendly employees at Love, Tito's are happy to share both the success and deep roots of Tito's story. Opening at 11:00am, this is the perfect spot to start our Austin adventure! Sorry, no free Tito's samples :)
Willie Nelson Statue
Standing proudly in front of the Moody Theater, Willie's statue is an iconic representation of why Austin is known as the "Live Music Capital of America". In addition to the statue, there is a cast bronze map at this intersection which shows detail of "old Austin" and the surrounding bodies of water. A perfect opportunity to give our tour the right historical context!

5.00Tyler was a great guide - informative, but in an approachable manner for teens and adults alike. We saw a good selection of Austin sights - both old and new and finished a lot more knowledgeable than we started. I would recommend.

5.00Possibly one of the best tours I've been on in years. Tyler is a fantastic storyteller, giving a thorough deep-dive into the history of Austin. A lengthy, walking tour, but totally worth learning about the history of the city, while touring locations throughout the city. Meet-up point was easy to get to, there's a parking garage located next door, as well as a Starbucks on the corner across from Love, Tito's. There's food and drink options along the way, very cool way to experience a snapshot into Austin's downtown. Tour is safe, travel in an intimate group, and gave me a look into the city that exceeded my expectations. I definitely would love to come back and spend more time, but only had this 1 day to enjoy the city. p.s. bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes!

3.00Two years ago we participated in a food and tour event in Mobile Alabama. That was a tour that included in the cost samples from a number of different restaurants in downtown Mobile We thought this was going to be a similar experience but it was different which was disappointing Perhaps we missed that when we read the material. Tyler did a good job showing us around downtown Austin

5.00Our guide was full of historical knowledge which helped make the tour very enjoyable. Walking through the old neighborhoods and seeing the new skyscrapers in the background was a sight to see! Austin is a nice city to visit.

5.00Great tour of austin and our guide Tyler was exceptional!! Our family from out of town learned so much about austin. We will be back to do again with future company in town. There is no other place like austin and this tour made us appreciate the city even more.

5.00My teenage son and I were the only ones on our afternoon walking tour with Tyler. He was friendly, knowledgeable, takes pride in Austin, and paced the tour just right for us. Our fave parts were the walk along the water (even though there was a lot of noisy construction all around), stepping into the historic Driscoll Hotel, and the most delicious hidden taco restaurant we would have never stumbled upon without Tyler (Taqueria de Diez). He answered all our questions, had some good stories, and made sure there wasn’t anything we still wanted to know about before the tour ended. We asked for an ice cream shop recommendation and he suggested Amy’s Ice Creams (where my son and I walked after our tour and it was another superb place!) Thank you, Tyler for an awesome Austin tour.
