Discover true wilderness and capture epic vistas of endless mountains! With only 10% of the entire state of Alaska accessible by road, we are proud to offer a premier helicopter-access photography excursion. Soar to a peak where we will land in a remote location with 360° views of the Alaska Range. The landing area is broad and offers the opportunity for walking around or hiking up the ridgeline for the more adventurous traveler. You will have over 2 hours for exploration and personalized photo instruction. This is a unique opportunity to experience the wilderness of Denali and to compose the perfect shot. This tour requires 2 guests to operate. We will contact you in advance if the minimum is not met. Tour maximum is 4.

You will be flown with your guide and land on the rolling tundra of the Alaska Range where you will photograph with your guide for 2+ hours. There are no trails, and the tundra is uneven terrain which can be challenging. Comfortable and supportive shoes are recommended. Please be prepared, there will not be comfortable places to sit for the duration of the excursion and the helicopter may be challenging to get in and out of.

5.00Joe was an amazing tour guide. He took the time to go through the functionalities of both our cameras and our phones. Joe was punctual and even had great locations to stop and test out the different settings he helped set on one of our cameras. Joe was very knowledgeable about birds and had an amazing portfolio to back it up which further helped us with the camera functions and settings with the pictures we wanted to take. Furthermore, safety was key and he took the time to not only let us get our photos but advise us about the dangers of not being alert with the wildlife happening around us as well as keep us out of harm. I definitely recommend this tour and Joe if the option is present to request him personally. Overall it was a great program and tour!

5.00One of the biggest highlights of the trip, letting us be completely alone on the top of a mountain. Josh and Mike guided us onto fellows mountain and showed us incredible views. Would highly recommend this to any traveler to Denali, especially those who have their own high end camera and are into photography. Josh showed us how to take better photos of the views and wildflowers and plenty of tricks even with our phone cameras for better pictures.
