  The tour of the "real" Lima was great. What made it amazing was our guide Gia. She was very knowledgeable about the area, rituals and things at the market. We wandered around and got to know many interesting facts we otherwise wouldn't if we just walked around alone. The coca leaves reading at the end was an interesting experience too. Julio the driver was also great. This was our second tour with Haku and we were really satisfied with both!

  I cannot recommend this tour enough. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure through parts of Lima that most travelers never get to see, guided by some of the warmest, most knowledgeable people I’ve met. Amadeo and Paolo, our incredible guides, brought such deep insight and heart to every part of the journey. Their pride in their culture was palpable and contagious. Each story, explanation, and interaction helped me see Peru in a whole new light. Carlos, our driver, was equally wonderful and kind, attentive. What made this tour stand out was how real it felt. This wasn’t a tourist trap, it was a look into real daily life, markets, traditions, and communities, all guided with care, respect, and joy. The team was patient, protective, and truly lovely.   We found this tour absolutely fascinating. Not only did we walk around the Witches Market in Gamarra, we visited other types of markets and got to see an average day in the life of this famous textile neighbourhood. Our guide, Leonardo, was fabulous. He is so knowledgable. He talked of history, politics, the lives of residents and their various cultures. He told us exactly where we were going and what to expect when we got there. He answered all our questions and more. Our driver, Juan, was great too, moving us safely from one place to another. We can thoroughly recommend this tour - it’s unique, authentic and not to be missed.
