- The only round trip, one day tour from Florence to all five Cinque Terre villages

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
Suitable walking shoes are mandatory for those doing the hiking – no flip-flops. Suggestions: walking boots or sneakers, closed toe shoes with non-slip soles.
If you want to swim during free time, please remember to bring your own towel and swimwear.
On rare occasions the boat ride will stop operating due to bad weather or strong winds. It is beyond our control so no refunds or discounts will be issued.
In case of unexpected closure of the paths for unforeseen events, alternative routes will be taken instead for those doing the hiking
A large amount of walking is involved for those doing the hiking. You must be of average fitness and be able to keep up with the rest of the group.
Due to uneven surfaces, we cannot accept anyone with walking difficulties, below average fitness, or young children.
Minimum age is 8 years.

Your journey from Florence to the Cinque Terre starts by coach, where you can relax as your guide shares stories about the area. You'll hear tales about the Tuscan city of Lucca and its famous resident Puccini and see the Carrara marble quarries from the distance before learning about the Cinque Terre and its five fishing villages—Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso and Riomaggiore—that form the national park. Once you arrive in La Spezia, your expert tour leader will be there to guide you through the next part of your journey. Following their helpful instructions and insights, you’ll make your way to board the train and continue your adventure.

5.00I couldn’t think of a better way to experience the best of Cinque Terre. We opted for the Pisa tour as well and we had a great day visiting 3 towns, then taking a boat back and then a train the Pisa. Jean Luc made sure they we were cared for in each and every step and I was so impressed with his ability to calmly manage a group this large with no issues.

5.00Walk About Tours was amazing. Air conditioned comfortable bus back and forth to Florence. JoJo and Claudia were fabulous guides and made sure everyone was accounted for. This is typically a large group so it’s a lot of work to make sure we are all there. Five small towns where you had 90 mins to explore. Took the boat back to Riomaggiore. It’s a lot of walking and stairs even without the hike so be prepared! Views, food, water was well worth it. Again thanks to our guides and bus driver at Walk About!

5.00Took a day trip while in Florence. If you have the time I would highly recommend it. It was a great way to see a lot in a short period of time. It was a long day but totally worth it. Saw 3 cities and then the leaning tower of Pisa. Great tour. Great guides. Lots of energy and laughs. Also learned a lot too! If you have the time book it!

5.00Odo and Chris were great guides. They shared information on the bus ride there and during the tour. They even joined us on the climb of the steps and the hike from one village to another. The hike between two villages is not for the faint-hearted. Very personable and made sure we were all taken care of. Highly recommend.

5.00This was an amazing and well organized trip to Cinque Terre! I felt I had enough time to explore but manage to see everything in the day. It was very hot at some points to please bring plenty of water and electrolytes, I recommend carrying a backpack with a towel as you can swim in multiple towns as well.

Coco was our tour guide and she was super nice, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the trip. Thanks Coco! Highly recommended!

5.00Nice to get to visit 5 villages all in one day. The scheduling is all taken care of and all we had to do was go and enjoy. The sights seen won’t soon be forgotten. Our guides, Claudia and Gian Luca were very pleasant and attentive to needs of the group. We enjoyed them and they made the trip experience great.

5.00The towns of Cinque Terre are beautiful! The tour guides did a great job on moving the day along. Claudia and Joann were amazing. It is a long day, so be sure to be rested before the journey. You only spend an hour or so at each town, but it’s a good amount of time to browse and take a look at each town. We had the meal offered (15 euros each person) at the third town and it was delicious. My husband and I were exhausted by the end, but it was a fun time.
