On March 22, 1933, a few weeks after Adolf Hitler had been appointed Reich Chancellor, a concentration camp for political prisoners was set up in Dachau. This camp served as a model for all later concentration camps and as a "school of violence" for the SS men under whose command it stood. In the twelve years of its existence over 200. 000 persons from all over Europe were imprisoned here and in the numerous subsidary camps. 41. 500 were murdered. On April 29 1945, American troops liberated the survivors.

5.00This company was great to work with. They answered all my questions ahead of time as we were on a river cruise and wanted to make sure of all the details. The driver was very informative and explained everything. The guide we had at Dachau was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We learned alot from her. We really appreciated everything she had to say about the camp. We definitely recommend this company.

5.00Suzart was very professional and easy to work with. We were on a river cruise and they worked with our schedule. Our driver was great and got us to Dachau in a timely manner. He was very friendly and informative. Our guide at Dachau was amazing. She was very informative and helped us understand what truly happened there. We would use Suzart again.

4.00This was a very intense experience, seeing the place where so much suffering happened moved me deeply. I feel I must add that the guide we had, while knowledgeable, could of been much better and more engaging. Our driver, who picked us up at the hotel was great, he gave us background information on the way there and made the 11/2 hour drive go by quickly.

5.00The driver picked us up at the Cruise Ship in Nuremberg and took us to Dachau. An experienced guide gave an excellent tour in English. It was a very sobering yet amazing. The Suzart tour driver returned us to the ship, working with our schedule to top off an educational and heartfelt adventure.

4.00Thank you for the tour. We enjoyed the private transport to Dachau and tge information provided during the drive. Our guide was professional, friendly and on time. Regarding the actual tour at the concentration camp. This portion is not private, it is with an extremely large group 50-60 people. This made it very difficult to learn the history of Dachau. Would recommend in the future to provide audio guide and allow people to tour on their own.

5.00Very humbling tour of a place no human should have ever been subjected to. Guide was informative. Tour was unexpectantly cancelled by the museum through no fault of the booking agency but the headphone tour was fine. Got to move at our own pace.
