Dholavira is village Located 380 km away from Ahmedabad, in Khadir bet surrounded by the great Rann of Kutch. It is an ancient town that contains the fascinating and historic ruins of the Indus Valley Civilization. Dholavira UNESCO world heritage site is the second largest Harappan site in India and fifth largest in Indian sub-continent. Amongst the Harappan sites discovered so far, Dholavira is the only place that marks the presence of Harappan culture from 2900 BC to 1500 BC.
You will find some wood fossils that are aged 17 million year old.
It is a cliff point extended towards desert, which gives you splendid view of the surrounding desert from the top
This road connects Dholavira, khadir island to the main land. the Khadir Island or khadir beyt is surrounded by Great Rann of Kutch. This place is offering some of the best views while sunrise and sunset.

Dattatreya Temple at Kalo Dungar
Kalo Dungar, alias Black hill is the highest point of the Kutch region at 462 meters, offering the bird's-eye view of the Great Rann of Kutch.

Rann Utsav is a celebration of life, festivities and culture of Kutch and Gujarat, organized by Gujarat Tourism every year from November to February. The most colorful people with a rich cultural heritage grace the canvas of ‘White Rann’. Kutch Rann Utsav is cradled in the largest salt marsh of the world, ‘The Great Rann of Kutch’ near Dhordo.

Vijay Vilas Palace
Built in 1929 by Rao Vijayrajji, situated at 8 km from Mandvi, Vijay Vilas Palace is very well-maintained, and often the scene of filming for Bollywood productions (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam). It was built of red sandstone in the Rajput style.
Mandvi Kachchh
Mandvi beach is well known for its color where water is present in pure blue color and also said to be crystal clear.

5.00We had a trip to Bhuj and Tent city Rann of Kutch,Dholavira,Kaala Dungar etc last week. It was organised by Kerala Travels Interserve . Very well planned by them to meet our requirements. I wish to state here that we , from 2009 onwards are with Kerala travels for all our travel and tour requirements. The executives ,specifically Rashmi takes care of us so meticulously that each and every point she makes sure that we are comfortable till we reach back our home. Highly recommend their services. Tent City stay was very comfortable and Gujarati food was delicious. Bhuj museum was worth visiting to understand the terrible situation through which the people of Bhuj went through during 2001 earthquake. All the very best to team kerala travels Interserve. Looking forward for more trips through KTI.
