5.00BB was incredible! She texted us where she would meet us and was early, we asked questions and she immediately sent us links for lunch, skin care, and snacks to purchase, even sent me the link to watch the series about North and South Korea (which I am watching and it is fabulous)! Had to complete a form to enter the DMZ we sent her the information and she completed it quickly and efficiently. Explained the area, the Freedom Bridge, walked through the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel (hot, difficult, and small space, but not as challenging as the Chi Chi Tunnels in Vietnam), walked through the museum and read letters from families that have been separated, and she explained the various monuments and memorials. Went to the Dora Observatory and saw North Korea through the binoculars. No pictures were permitted, but it was incredible to see through the binoculars. Shopped at the Unification Village - rice and snacks!! Lunch was not included, but BB made a suggestion once we were back in Seoul. BB thoroughly explained everything as the day progressed. HIGHLY suggest this private tour. The one on one was helpful in understanding and moving through this process of learning about and experiencing the DMZ.

5.00This was one of the best if not the best tour I have been on. BJ was an amazing tour guide who was both knowledgeable and and a great story teller. I would most definitely go on his tour again.

5.00Benny was an amazing guide throughout the whole experience. Easy and prompt hotel pickup and drop off. His English was perfect and he was energetic and engaged. So glad we did the private trip, as the day was able to flow at our pace. Benny offered historical facts and stories throughout the day that we would have not gotten if we went alone. So glad we booked the driver and guide as they coordinated for bus tickets and entry at each stop which made it smooth and painless. The local lunch was also delicious.

5.00Our Trip to the DMZ was fsbulous. The private tour is memorable. Our Guide BJ was fantastic and very knowlegable. He took time to explain sites and personalize the tour to our needs. A great lunch was included too. I would highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had an absolutely incredible day with our guide, BJ. He was fantastic! He has an incredible depth of knowledge about the history and geopolitical context of the Korean War and the DMZ, and we learned a lot from him. He even went out of the way to research our backgrounds to highlight parts that were relevant to our home country. His passion and expertise were just as evident at the War Memorial of Korea, where he is a docent. He guided us through the exhibits, ensuring we understood the significance of what we were seeing, which was a deeply moving and educational experience.

5.00We had our guide BJ, who were passionate about telling about the Korea war. He was explaining about the how South Korea found the underground tunnels from North Korea, that we visted in the DMZ zone. And showed us around in the War Memorial of Korea, and talked about the Korea war, between North and the South.

5.00We had a great tour day with Alphonso. He is very knowledgeable & provided us with much insight into the historic & ongoing relations between North & South Korea. Although the top of the observatory was closed due to current tensions, we were lucky it was a clear day so we could still see into North Korea from the second floor. We chose the War Memorial option & Alphonso guided us through the museum as well. We enjoyed our tour very much!

We would take next-door with him, If he is available. The best tour guide, Is tour guy with full knowledge to share With enthusiasm and pride Korean history You must Mr. BJ Kim is your guide for any of Korean tour.

5.00We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Alfonso (yes, not a very traditional Korean name, ask him to tell you the story). We started at 7:30 where he picked us up at our hotel and we headed over to the DMZ parking lot. We were able to get a 9:45 bus ticket so there wasn’t much idle time and he accompanied us as we visited the tunnel and observatory. We were fortunate to still make out the North Korean flag in the haze despite the crummy rainy weather, so don’t be deterred if your weather forecast is bad - you may be pleasantly surprised! Afterwards he took us to a nearby restaurant for some pork cutlet which the whole family (including our two boys ages 9 and 12) enjoyed, then we visited the War Memorial museum where he helped give context to all the displays on site. Alfonso was a terrific guide with excellent English, a curious personality, and great historical and cultural knowledge. We saw some of the other group tours while we were out and felt lucky to be on this private one instead. Even though the itinerary says War Memorial, there is flexibility to do different or other locations as well, which is great depending on your interests!
Definitely Worth Booking if you Want a Tour with a More Personal Touch!

5.00Awesome tour with our very informative and helpful guide Jimmy. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. We had a fantastic time and experience visiting the DMZ and War Memorial as well as experiencing a local Korean restaurant where the food was fabulous. Thank you for the photos Mr Lee😊
