It's DMZ theme park, we must stop by here to buy DMZ tickets(there's no reservation system) But you can see freedom bridge, bridge of no return, derailed locomotive, the view on the top of the building, Plus there's early opening snack bar and restaurant
Mangbaedan is an altar where North Korean refugees in the South hold ancestral rites on the two biggest national holidays to their parents and grandparents left behind in the North. An exhibition hall that used to be a military bunker holds diverse events for visitors inside the resort.

5.00Was a really interesting trip! Worth the money. You ll get a lot of information - in well spoken english. We started very early, which i recommend. Cause the later you start, the more tourists are at the spots.

5.00This was amazing! We had Vincent as our guide and he was excellent at giving nuanced history with the bigger narrative. His English was exceptional. This gave us a profound understanding of the conflict and the reality of the daily fall out from it. Seeing into North Korea and watching farmers there work in the rice patty through binoculars will stay with me for a long time.

She is super entertaining and kept us hooked with fascinating facts and stories throughout the day. Highly recommend booking a tour with her!

5.00I booked the tour about 4 months in advance. Information was superb and I was contacted on mail and WhatsApp some days before the trip with all necessary details. Everything worked smooth. Joo-Ee was our guide and she was very professional and made the tour into a great experience. I would absolutely recommend Small group DMZ tour from Here Korea travel.

5.00This tour further helped me to understand Korea’s part and present, why the country separated into two and how this impacts a lot of Korean families. While I was at the observatory, I met an elderly lady with a photo of another young lady. Even though we did not talk the same language, I could understand that the person in the photo was someone close to her who was still on the other side and that she may never see again. The trip combines with a few kms but still easy walking down tunnels or up small hills, which I also enjoyed. I also want to thank our guide Song, who has made my day interesting and fun.
