5.00This one of the most incredible travel experiences I have had you feel more like a friend than a tourist and I would say this is a very unique and wonderful experience you won't easily find anywhere else. Getting a look at a culture that is unfortunately disappearing more and more was truly special. The food the company the wine and the views cannot be beat. Please book this experience. You will not regret it. They also have an air bnb on the property if you want a longer stay however it is an easy and beautiful drive from Porto.

5.00The fire-cooked food was absolutely delicious – full of authentic flavors and tradition. The setting at Retiro do Olival is stunning, with beautiful decoration and breathtaking views over the vineyards and olive trees. Marisa and Telmo are wonderful hosts – genuinely kind, talented, and passionate about keeping local traditions alive. A memorable and authentic experience that anyone visiting the Douro should not miss!
