Famous for its iconic church, it draws visitors captivated by the story of paratrooper John Steele, whose parachute became caught on the church steeple during the Allied invasion. We’ll stop at a local bakery so you can pick up some food, but you’re also welcome to bring your own meal—especially if you have specific dietary needs or restrictions.

Duration: 8 hours: This tour option covers all itinerary stops, except for Cimetière Militaire Allemand de La Cambe (The German Cemetery). Itinerary summary: Omaha Beach, Normandy American Cemetery & Pointe du Hoc with guided D-Day insights, site visits, and photo opportunities. Meals are not included: There are no restaurant stops at the D-Day sites, so we will stop at a local bakery where you can purchase food. 5.00We truly loved this excursion because of Lawrence's vast knowledge of the subject and expert storytelling. We felt extremely fortunate to be assigned to him because he made our bucket list experience so much more memorable with the important and unique information he provided. As Americans, we felt grateful that our brave WWII soldiers have been and are cotninuing to be honored and not forgotten. The timing of the excursion was perfect for us too We look forward to coming back to visit the museums and the other beaches. Thanks again, Lawrence. You are the best tour guide we've had thus far.

5.00This tour was especially for cruise passengers. It was very convenient and the guides were waiting for us as we exited the terminal. Our tour guide Lawrence was very informative and had many stories to keep us entertained. He really loves his job and it shows. He made the experience memorable.

4.00Lots of walking. Laurence was a great guide. The bikers were so interesting to see. People on a Normandy tour booked with the cruise line did not see them. Finding the tour guide and bus was very easy. Would highly recommend
