  The guide, Andreas, was a wealth of knowledge!   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Mindo Cloud Forest Full-Day Tour We had a fantastic full-day tour of the Mindo Cloud Forest. The scenery was spectacular, with lush vegetation, beautiful waterfalls, and incredible biodiversity everywhere we looked. The hummingbird reserve was amazing, and we were especially fortunate to spot two plate-billed mountain toucans, which was a real highlight of the day. The butterfly sanctuary was absolutely breathtaking, with hundreds of colorful butterflies creating a truly magical experience. Lunch was delicious, and the chocolate tasting was a delightful experience that perfectly complemented the day. A special thank you to our guide, Andres, who was excellent from start to finish. We learned so much throughout the day, and his knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly personality made the experience even more enjoyable. He was a pleasure to spend the day with and truly enhanced the entire tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Quito and looking to experience the beauty of the Mindo Cloud Forest!

  The guide was fantastic, we shared a great time together, full of knowledge. The entire cloud forest road was fantastic. In the hummingbird sanctuary I got the opportunity to see some different species of them even some of them landed in my hand to drink nectar and also in the same place I seen toucans and different kind of mammals too.

  We spent our first full day in Equador on this tour with Matteo. It was a fantastic kickoff for our vacation! It was a nice mix of time viewing the countryside from the car and stopping for our visits. The highlight for us was the bird sanctuary. It was the experience of a lifetime seeing exotic birds and having hummingbirds alight on our fingers. Matteo was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and exemplified customer service. He clearly enjoyed sharing his love of nature with us. He was a great driver though the winding roads. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. Truly an experience we will never forget!

  

  

  

  

• Exceptional Wildlife Tour with an Amazing Guide

  This was honestly one of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences I’ve ever had. Our guide, Andrés, was exceptionally insightful, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire day. What I appreciated most was his flexibility — nothing felt rushed. If I wanted to spend extra time observing birds, photographing hummingbirds, or simply enjoying the forest, that was never a problem. And the wildlife was absolutely unbelievable. We saw more than 10 species of hummingbirds in a single day, often from extremely close distances. Almost all of them even landed on my arm while I was holding a feeder, which was an unforgettable experience. Beyond that, we encountered dozens of other bird species, including THREE species of toucans, which I understand is very rare to see during one tour. Andrés was incredibly sharp at spotting wildlife that I would have completely missed on my own. One of the most magical moments was finding tiny miniature frogs smaller than a fingernail hidden in the vegetation. The cloud forest is simply full of life everywhere you look. If you love biodiversity, birds, photography, or nature in general, I cannot recommend this tour enough.

  Absolutely amazing! Mateo was a great guide. It was easy to book, easy communication with organiser. Mateo turned up early for pick up but didn’t mind waiting. He was very knowledgeable about the area and clear about the plan. We had an amazing time walking to the waterfall and then seeing the hummingbirds and butterflies. Well worth the money

  Our guide was very nice and informative. We saw more than a dozen toucans, many humming birds and butterflies. The hummingbirds landed on our hands and drank from little cups. We saw 25 species of hummingbirds that were many colors. It was an amazing experience! Lunch was very tasty and the cacao wine was also delicious.

  We had a fab trip and were brilliantly looked after by Andres and Charlie. Andres, as the guide, was a enthusiastic and knowledgeable communicator and made sure that we got the best out of the day without any time pressures…all of the stops were amazing but the trek and the hummingbirds were the highlights.
