Meet your tour guide at Praia da Duquesa Beach for a quick safety briefing and introduction. Next, enjoy a brief warm-up then jump into the sea for an acclimatization swim nearby before beginning your adventure along the Cascais coast.

Take in panoramic views of the Bay of Cascais as you swim in the company of your guide. The guide will provide you with feedback throughout the tour and will take photos and videos which you can use to improve your technique. At the end of the tour, warm up with a hot mug of tea.

My lessons are designed to be a balanced combination of relaxation and adventure. I spend a great deal of time planning each of my swim routes, ensuring that I offer you a tailored experience that you will never forget. On this day, we will meet at Praia da Duquesa in Cascais. After arriving, you will meet me and your fellow swimmers for a safety briefing and discussion about the swimming lesson. If you are a beginner swimmer we can also do a private coaching session. We will then hold an acclimatisation swim nearby and start our adventure along the Cascais coast (from 1.5km or more depending on your ability and if you want to do a short or long distance swim). There you will have the opportunity to swim in very enjoyable clear waters. The view from here is unrivalled as the entire Bay of Cascais is laid out before us. The session will last 1 hour with time to warm up, meet up and after our water session get a hot tea. I provide swim buoy and, if required, a wetsuit rental. I will be swimming beside you all the time and giving you all the support you need. I will be filming you while swimming for further analysis of your technique.

I had an incredible one on one swim session in Portugal that completely exceeded my expectations. The coach was absolutely phenomenal, knowledgeable, patient, and detail oriented. He fine tuned my technique, improved my efficiency, and gave me the confidence I needed leading into my Ironman 70.3. I truly wouldn’t have felt as prepared without his guidance. Highly recommend to anyone looking to take their swimming and confidence to the next level.

Swim together was incredible! I What’s app them to see if I could do an OWS prior to the Ironman. Andre promptly got back to me to help me set something up. He stayed engaged, back and forth, to see if I could get a 1:1 coach swim. When that didn’t work out he stayed with it and connected me to an intermediate swim group on Sunday. The coach was very helpful and he guided me in uncharted waters (for me). I have connected with OWS groups in many places, Swim Together represented their name in so many ways. Thank you.

We are a US-based couple who met open water swimming, so part of the draw of a Portugal vacation was the opportunity to swim. We had a great morning swimming with Arseniy to the Boca de Inferno in Cascais. Swimming with a local made us feel more confident and we learned about the area as well. The great photos are also a nice touch for our vacation memory book! Thanks Andre and Swim Together for recommending the short train from Lisbon to experience a swim to Boca de Inferno.

I had so much fun swimming in Sesimbra (cave tour) and Cascais (Boca do Inferno) in early August with Arseniy! I felt safe, swam in places I couldn't swim by myself and meet fellow swimming enthusiasts. Arseniy took great photos and videos of us, showed us sea creatures and was generally a kind and friendly host. His love of the sea and swimming was infectious. I will swim with swim together next time I'm in Portugal for sure!

I swam three mornings with Arseniy, and it was amazing! Twice in sesimbra where there was a lot of marine life. Arseniy knows a lot about the sea creatures and spots them effortlessly. In cascais the water was more challenging and that variety was delicious. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it if you are in Lisbon for a few days (and can swim, that is handy 😅)
