5.00Highly recommend this tour! We had a great time and learned so much. Chef Jacquie is a local celebrity :)- knew all the shop owners, and taught us so much about the history of the Italian Market. We tasted great food along the way and even bought some fun things to take home. This was such a unique and enjoyable experience, you won’t regret booking it!

5.00The tour was wonderful! The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was made better by all the locals who would stop by to say hi, giving an authentic community feel. The food was too notch! A great mix of history, eating, and culture.

5.00We lived in Philadelphia many years ago and this tour was very informative about the history of the market and best places to shop. Food tastings were awesome from cheese to cannolis with everything in between. Alma was great! I wish I had done this tour years ago on my return visits to the area!

5.00We decided to take the Italian Market Tour with Chef Jaquie at the last minute. As locals we weren't sure what to expect, but Chef Jaquie represented our city and the Italian Market perfectly. It felt like a stroll out with family and friends, while eating some of the best food in the city. We learned a lot of history too. I definitely recommend taking the tour and enjoying everything the Italian Market has to offer.

5.00Chef Jackie gave us one of the highlights of our time in Philadelphia. This was far more than a food tour. It felt like being welcomed into the living story of the Italian Market by someone who genuinely loves its people, history, and flavors. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen and absolutely delicious, from the incredible roast pork sandwich at Paesano’s to the unforgettable cannoli at Isgro Bakery. We especially appreciated how Jackie blended food, history, neighborhood culture, and personal relationships with the shop owners and makers along the way. You could tell this was not a scripted tourist experience. At one point on our tour, we were standing in front of a shop, and a guy came by and told us to go back to the suburbs. Chef Jackie has the perfect rejoinder that was so funny yet sweet! The pacing was perfect, giving us time not only to eat but also to wander, shop, ask questions, and really soak in the atmosphere. We left full, happy, and carrying far more treats and pantry finds than we expected. If you love food, local culture, and authentic experiences, this tour is absolutely worth it. Chef Jackie was warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Philadelphia’s culinary traditions. We would recommend this tour without hesitation.
