  Something that was supposed to be very romantic and unforgettable was turned into a most negative experience in Italy. Our guide was Old & supper grumpy! He was always talking to other gondola drivers next to us, ignoring anything we asked and only would, in a very irritated manner tell us not to move, o stay still, etc. when I wanted to put a head on my husbands shoulder, he told me in a very rude voice, Stay on your side lady! we saw other people switch places for pictures, moving and enjoying their rides while moving on the water but us - we were afraid to move our heads and stayed quiet and still - we couldn't wait to get out of there.

  That experience is worth it; if you don't do it, it's like not having been in Venice. The gondolier, whose name I don't remember, spoke Spanish and had good manners and general knowledge, making it worth conversing with him.

  It was a great experience. I will repeat it any time. Try to get first in the gondola to get the good seats, the other seats are not very confortable. There was a lot of noice in the receptor connected to the guide. Still, I will do it again.

  Friendly welcome. The guide was ok but the part with guide is very short. The boat trip too but was ok. The gondolier was friendly. You get a brief impression. Good for once. The other people in the boat were not too satisfied because they thought they were sitting alone (incomprehensible because this is very clearly communicated when booking) because the trip also made something more unpleasant but the organizer cannot help it.

  We arrived at the address provided at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled tour and waited for at least 20 min after our scheduled tour, however no one showed up. I requested a refund which was DENIED. I went to submit a message to the tour operator and realized they sent a change in meeting location in March. I messaged the tour operator however they would not honor the reservation. Money lost

  The experience seemed rushed as they were trying to accommodate a large number of people. The video experience was extraordinary and fun. The guide was pleasant but again there were a lot of people and the gondola ride was uncomfortable, lots of other gondolas and we were all bunched up together. The guide did not go on the gondola so there was no narrative on what we passed by. After, we went and rented a boat from a private guide spur of the moment and went on the grand canal for an hour as he pointed out various landmarks, etc. the boat was immaculate and the ride was super comfortable. Also, it was cheaper than the gondola experience. If I could do it over, we would skip the gondola.
