This immersion day will allow you to better understand the wines of Burgundy through map reading in the vineyard, simple and clear explanations of winemaking techniques in the cellar, to better understand the history of Burgundy and its wines since the Roman Empire to the present day.

Through authentic meetings, you will have access to very high quality wines, including of course the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus emblematic of Burgundy.
The program of the day :
- 2 domain visits
- Tasting of 12 wines including 4 x Grands Crus and Premiers Crus
- Explanations of the work of the vineyard and explanation of the vinification techniques
- Meeting with Burgundy specialists and / or winemakers
- Understanding the History of Burgundy wines from the Roman Empire to the present day

- 9:30 am: Meet at your accommodation (Chagny / Beaune / Dijon axis) - Morning: Stop in the vineyards for an explanation of Burgundy wines (notion of Climates, terroir, classification, appellation ...) Visit of a domain and tasting of 6 Burgundy wines (Grands Crus and Premiers Crus included). - Lunch: We will reserve a table for you in a local and traditional restaurant according to our itinerary (Lunch NOT included) - Afternoon : Walk in the vineyards and explanation of the work of the vine according to the different cycles of the vine and the seasons. Visit of an estate and explanation of winemaking techniques in the cellar, then tasting of 6 Burgundy wines (Grands Crus and Premiers Crus included) 5:00 p.m .: return to your hotel. Cultural stops and photo stops: Clos Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru in Puligny-Montrachet The Hill of Corton Grand Cru Clos de la Romanée Conti Grand Cru Château de Clos de Vougeot (12th century) Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru (perfect for a beautiful photo at the top of the hills) Stop in front of the oldest vineyard: Clos de Bèze Grand Cru (7th century)

5.00The tour was amazing. We toured the Cotes de Nuits on the first day and the Cotes de Beaune on the second. We have taken other excellent wine tours in France. This is among the best. Burgundy can seem impenetrable to even experienced wine drinkers. We learned an incredible amount in our two days -- and will be back! David was a great guide. He knows every inch of Burgundy and is an incredine guide.

5.00A month before the visit, I booked directly with the operator and connected with Fabien who was quick and responsive, which was much appreciated, especially in comparison with other tour operators I contacted. During the booking, he couldn't tell me which wineries we were to visit (which I guess is normal for such tours) until the week before the tour dates, so it was a bit of a leap of faith when you first book. Tour was pricey, but well worth it as we only had 2 days where we arrived into Dijon from Paris at 9:30, and left Dijon the next day on the 6pm TGV train back to Paris. So we really needed to pack in as much as possible. David, the guide, picked us up from the train station, and dropped us off at the train station the next day to return to Paris, so the arrangements were seamless and hassle-free. David was personable, funny and knowledgeable. Day 1 was a tour to 3 wineries in Côte de Beaune, and Day 2 was a tour to 2 wineries, plus a tasting in an old local resident's home, in Côte de Nuits. These private tours were really so informative. My travel-mate and I are both WSET Diploma students, and meeting directly with the winery owners was just so inspirational as they were very happy to share their challenges and their plans for the future. It felt like talking to old friends! Highly recommended! Thanks so much David & Fabien

5.00We had a truly enchanting time touring Dijon to Beaune for a full day. David was an expert guide - informative and engaging from the time he picked us up at the train station until our return. Tasted several wonderful grand cru and premier cru wines of the region. We will definitely reconnect with David who became a friend on this trip. Highly recommend this tour!
Amazing Day Trips in Burgandy

5.00My boyfriend and I did two day trips with Bourgogne Gold Tour, one for Cote de Beaune and one for Cote de Nuits. We had an amazing time! David, our guide was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the area. He was so nice and set up some great tastings, introducing us to multiple of the actual growers themselves, which was very special. We fit a lot into each day but it didn't feel too rushed, it was a great balance. He also helped us organize our wine delivery back to the US so we could focus on enjoying ourselves. It was a perfect way to spend a few days in Burgundy. I would 100% recommend!
No Better Burgundy Experience

5.00This was the second time I went on a tour with this outfit. They have several levels of tours depending on how much you want to spend and what type of experience you want. This time I chose the sapphire tour. And what a tour it was. First Fabien (who was my guide last time as well) took me to a spot where 2 grand cru vineyards meet and took out bottles of older vintages from those plots for a tasting. Oh my goodness! Then we drove to the famous Romanée Conti plot where we tasted another over the top bottle. Never had an experience like that! We then visited 3 producers—the last of whom poured a 1948 Pommard. Again, a unique experience. Finally he took me to a small producer who doesn’t sell publicly. We went there last time as well. Amazing to see how his wines and his process have evolved over the years. I was given the opportunity to buy and ship back to the US. What a great day it was!

5.00We had a fabulous day touring Burgundy with Youri! We visited three exceptional wineries, each offering something unique and memorable. Youri was an incredible guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and a wonderful teacher. We learned so much about the region, the vineyards, and the winemaking process, all while enjoying some truly outstanding wines. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic and educational Burgundy wine experience!

5.00First, I will say that all wine tours will be very nice in Burgandy but with Bourgogne Gold Tour and especially with our guide, David, it was an amazing day. David provided enough knowledge but at the same time was relaxed and made it entertaining. The tastings and wineries we visited were top notch. I highly recommend this tour and we will definitely try to get David to take us on another tour on our next trip. Thank you!!
