This interpretive 3-hour jeep tour departs from Canon City and meanders through bright red towering spires and monoliths sculpted by the erosion of the fountain formation. Your geological tour through time includes a short walk out to "Overlook Arch" and a up-close look at dinosaur footprints left over 107 million years ago. You will see where paleontologists have been removing dinosaur remains for over 140 years from one of the most famous digs in history along with ancient Indian petroglyphs.

We offer 1/2 day and full day jeep-only trips (starting at 3 hours), and full-day combo packages with rafting, the Royal Gorge Bridge, wine tasting, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, and zip-lining over the Royal Gorge. 5.00Fantastic Tour, fantastic company. Absolutely book one (or more) of their tours. First, Jennifer, you are a 10. You answered all my questions, gave hints and not only took care of scheduling the Jeep tour but the Royal Gorge Train reservations as well. You were so patient with me. So convenient working with one person. Thank you so much for your amazing assistance. We only had time for 1 tour. We did the 1/2 day Red Canyon. So much fun. Our guide was Paul - another 10. He provided so much history and information. Before heading to the canyon, Paul took us around very interesting parts of town and gave us all the history of each site. Then the drive to the canyon, beautiful countryside with more history. The drive into the canyon and through the canyon is beautiful. The road through part of it going up the canyon is crazy. Short part is really bumpy, but so much fun. Paul is more than an expert plus driver. His knowledge of so much history is worth the trip. This is first class operation with really great people. We are talking about making another trip to Canon City from Texas again. We had no idea what a great spot it is. We will definitely take one of their other tours when in Canon City again. Actually there are 2 other tours I'd really like to do on our next trip. Don't miss the opportunity to do a jeep tour with them.

5.00Beautiful afternoon trip through the back country in Red Canyon and Skyline drive, Paul was a grest guide, very knowledgeable about the area. i would definately reccomend this tour.

5.00Richard's narrative during the tour was outstanding. 17 yo and 12 yo had a great time which was the reason for our trip. We will reserve another tour if we're in the area again.

5.00We really enjoyed our morning with Coach as our guide. There were four of us retirees and this tour took us places that we would never have been able to do on our own, all with an expert driver, historian, and teacher to tell us local lore. Would definitely recommend this tour to all.

5.00Minus the glitch with our reservation (which was fixed) We LOVED the tour. It was a lotnof fun for the whole family going across the bumpy dirt roads. Highlighted by seeing dinosaur foot prints.

5.00Canon City is a charming town full of history. Spending time on a Colorado Jeep Tour with any of their knowledgeable guides will provide insight of the history, geology, and a wealth of natural beauty. I was lucky to have Coach as my guide who has a deep well of experiences, stories and knowledge to share. And he is humorous as well. He kept me engaged during the entire tour. Plus we had another guide on the tour to train. So we had 2 guides sharing information. What an awesome experience . I highly recommend this tour while visiting Canon City.
