The crystalline clear blue waters of Niasca and Paraggi bay are irresistible to dive in! Famous for its Posidonia meadow and thanks also to the Park’s safeguard, this bay's seabed is extremely rich in flora and fauna. A dive with mask and snorkel in this natural aquarium is an absolutely unique experience. No skills required, beyond being able to swim.

The nautical base is equipped with lockers, available for our customers according to availability. We strongly suggest not to bring valuable items; the staff does not take responsibility for any loss.
In the nearby bay of Paraggi you may find basic services: tabacco shop, bar, restaurant, toilets (toilets not present in our office).
*Respect the environment! Bring your water bottle and fill it up with potable water at our office.

Dive in the crystal clear green water of Paraggi bay: you will feel like swimming in a natural aquarium! Paraggi bay, famous for the Posidonia meadow, is characterized by a great variety of fish species and marine plants. Diving here with a mask and snorkel is a unique experience! Before diving, the guide explains some safety procedures and, through some images, shows the species that will be sighted during the excursion. This bay, forbidden to nautical traffic, is ideal for this type of activity as it guarantees total safety for swimmers.

Big fisherman at Hotel Zilwa

5.00During our holiday at Hotel Zilwa we went on a fishing trip. Bought the trip from Big John who sold trips at Hotel Zilwa- The tour started already at 4am and then it was off to Grand Baie. I was lucky enough to catch 2 nice Tuna - totaling about 35 Kg. I was the only one of about 10 boats that got any catch. We stayed at Zilwa for 3 weeks - in late February 2026 to mid-March - I was the only one at the hotel who caught fish - "The Big Fisherman"

5.00Me and my 13 year old son had such a fantastic time. The guide was excellent and made us feel at ease. He pointed out interesting marine life along the way and we were both really surprised at the amount of fish, sea urchins and starfish there was to see. We even saw two octopus hiding in the sea bed! Would throughly recommend and was a highlight of our holiday. Plus, Paraggi Bay is unbelievably beautiful, with quiet, calm clear blue waters and no boats to worry about. Such a great experience! Thank you :)
Fun Snorkel in the Mediterranean Sea

4.00It was wonderful to swim in the Mediterranean Sea! We have prior snorkeling experience, so we opted to go earlier and without the guide. He gave us a little talk prior to us entering the water with their equipment. He showed us a picture chart of the possible fish and sea creatures that we may find. We did actually see 75% of what was on his picture chart. It was a little windy, so the water seemed to start churning up, but we had a great experience. Their equipment is not the newest, and the breathing tubes did leak quite a bit. We still had a very fun time. We did this as a port excursion on a cruise. We took a bus from the Portofino Square/ Tender port. It was a very short ride, but the road is extremely narrow, with harrowing 2 way traffic; seems dangerous for pedestrians.

2.00The base is located in a beautiful little bay but very difficult to reach. Car does not work and the shuttle bus is overpriced and overcrowded. There are no options to buy drinks in the bay. Should be mentioned in the tender. The guide came to the group on time and explained which animals (theoretically) can be seen in the bay using a cardboard board. Then we went into the water together and snorkeled around without seeing anything special. It would not have taken a guided tour for 40 euros!

4.00The scenery and experience was breathtaking! Parking is a bit difficult to find, but after parking and walking for 20 minutes we got to Outdoor Portofino. Staff is friendly and our tour guide was knowledgeable! There was a changing room (but wear your bathing suit to the location) and lockers for belongings. Was very fun!

5.00I absolutely loved this tour! There is a changing room and lockers for your belongings. Just a heads up there is little to no parking in Paraggi bay so we parked in Portofino and walked 15 minutes to the bay along the road (very beautiful walk and there are other pedestrians the whole way). They do provide gear and wetsuits which made it more comfortable in cooler waters. Excellent overview of the species and habitat and overall very worth the price. One last tip! Sometimes police cut off all car traffic going into Portofino or even paraggi bay due to a lack of parking so arrive with extra time, especially in case you have to walk farther than expected.

5.00It was So beautiful and you didn’t even have to get on a boat! Just snorkeling off shore there was a lot of rocky coral and fish. Our guide Manuale was so sweet and informative of the animals we may see. I felt very safe and would definitely do it again

5.00It was great time, very helpful team they guide us with sup to feel children safety...we saw amazing neu environment...I recommend it's not difficult if the children could swim The water let us flow over...I had fear but when you do it ..it is really manageable and new experience for children whom are 10 und 15 years old
