With the help of your native host, a journalist and writer, you'll discover the legends and stories about Sperlonga, you'll visit the vineyards of a very famous old roman wine and see how today a small winery works for the best quality.

You'll taste local food and three wines (tasting is not included and has to be paid on site, 20€ pp)

We will walk through the alleys of the old village in Sperlonga, among the most beautiful villages in Italy and Blue Flag since 1996. We will then visit a local winery, have a walk in the vineyards and a rich tasting/lunch of local food and wines. In the Sperlonga tasting (no winery) option we'll have a walk in the old village and have the wine tasting in Sperlonga (no visit to the vineyards and winery). VERY IMPORTANT: Wine Tasting and lunch are not included and have to be paid on site at the winery (35€ pp) or at the bar (20€ pp). Pick up and transportation are not included. Send a message if you're not able to drive.

The day with Irene at Amyclae was probably my favorite part of our trip. It was relaxing, interesting and the vineyard tour and lunch were really just amazing. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming and the food and wine were really really wonderful. I definitely recommend it!

Irene our tour guide was beyond amazing! Not only did she give a wonderful tour of SPERLONGA, she communicated with us from the time of the booking beautifully. Irene even cave restaurant and a hotel recommendations she was very patient and just a lovely person. We loved her from the moment we met! She then took us to the winery, It was a lifetime experience as Rafaella And his mother prepared and served us a 5 star meal. He took us on an extensive tour of the winery and patiently answered all our questions. It was the most lovely afternoon we will never forget. Although it was a $35 extra fee, it was worth every penny as we had a feast after the tour! We sat like we were family while we ate! The owners, father and brother even joined us! We highly recommend this tour if you really want to see true Italy in the countryside!

My husband & I really enjoyed the tour/history of Sperlonga. Irene was great since she is from Sperlonga & has a passion for the history & sharing it with people. The winery tour & tasting was fabulous!! The organically grown wines were very good & paired w/some fantastic locally made food. I would definitely recommend this wine experience!!!

Fantastic tour with history, views, great wine and excellent food! We visited Monti Cecubi and the olive farm further north. A super interesting history of Greek origins and Roman progression. Tried some incredible wines and the olive farm tour was excellent. Food provided was top tier Italian hospitality.

I would highly recommend a wine tour with Irene to the beautiful winery Monti Cecubi. We were taken on a tour around the winery and then offered tasty food and amazing wine to taste! Through Irene we were able to book a taxi that took us to the winery and back which I recommend doing.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I reached out to Irene with a laundry list of requests relating to traveling with an infant and a member of our group not betting able to eat gluten, and she was immediately responsive and so helpful. She found a car seat for our baby and gave us a ride up to the winery for our tour, where they were very accommodating in providing gluten free food options. Everyone involved really went above and beyond. Most importantly, Irene is a wonderful tour guide, deeply knowledgeable about the history of Sperlonga and the surrounding area. We learned so much during the walking tour of Sperlonga and the tour of the winery. The wine and food were also excellent. This tour would be well worth it at double the price and I highly recommend it for anyone coming to Sperlonga.

Not to be missed, a tour with Irene . Irene put together a perfect itinerary for our visit in Sperlonga. It was mostly a walking tour but Irene was thoughtful enough to reserve a taxi to get us to and from the historic district from hotel for a lovely exploration walking tour, museum visit and sunset dinner! She is very knowledgeable and informative we had a wonderful & memorable time

The picture is misleading, you are not going to visit a winery. You will be walking around the quote little town with a great tour. At the end we went to restaurant and had som vino tasting. Without our guide we would never be able to see odd part of town, she showed us little gems.

Very good time spent with Irene and a couple of English! a real moment of exchange. Irene taught us many things about the estate of course and about the history of Sperlonga. You smell like a passionate person!
