Tower of London Beefeater tours are included in admission and are open to all visitors that day. They commence every 30 minutes from the Tower of London moat. The meeting point and next tour is signposted upon entry, but a member of the Tower of London admissions team will be on hand to assist you should you struggle to locate the meeting point.
There is no luggage facilities and large items of luggage are prohibited.
Strollers are not allowed into the White Tower.
There is no re-entry to the tower.

3.00Unless I missed something this tour just gets you the same experience as those who buy a ticket at the site. This is definitely a must see site while in London. It is generally self guided unless you want to wait and follow a Beefeater along with dozens of others. You can also rent an audio tour device upon entry. We purchased the audio tour and found it a good way to see the tower and understand what you are seeing. We spent about 3 hours at the site. Recommend going at opening time and seeing the Crown Jewels early in your visit. I would definitely compare ticket prices at the tower web site to the Viator price and just pick the best price.

5.00Do an early entry if at all possible. It definitely made a difference for us and lines weren’t bad. Go see the Crown Jewels when you get there. We went as soon as we got there and the line was short

4.00Pretty much saw everything on our own. Difficult to determine where to meet a guide, just found our own Beefeater, who was awesome, then was on our own.
Do not buy this tour unless you know where you’re going!

1.00The directions to get to the tour are terrible, we had no idea where we were going, and I’m still not sure that we even went on the correct tour. I wish I had not paid in advance. I should have just paid at the tower of London and then I would’ve had more clear directions.

1.00They cancelled the tour part without notice due to heat. They didn't even send an email and no one responded to the chat when we couldn't find the group. Only found out when we asked the ticket taker. Tower of London was still open, so we just walked around ourselves.

4.00Thankfully, we went on the early end...30 minutes after they opened. There were many school groups that morning, but the rest of the crowd wasn't too great. But once we were ready to leave.... If you're planning to see the jewels, DEFINITELY go early. Even with an early entry, and no line really, it was quite crowded already. They architecture is lovely, and it makes for a lovely stop during your visit to London. Oh, and don't be afraid to take the tube. There is a stop conveniently located within walking distance of the tower.

5.00Easy entry and self guided tour was good, able to read information panels. History or the tower was awesome and viewing of the Crown Jewels and other items was impressive
