Everglades Area Tours has been offering educational tours since the 90's. All our guides are formally trained, full-time Florida Master Naturalist and have years more experience than all others. While Everglades National Park is a wilderness and the wildlife is just that ... wild., Our decades of experiences affords the best opportunity to locate, view and photograph wildlife. We are the "Quiet Alternative to an Airboat Ride". Airboats are not allowed in the Park where we operate.
Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Everglades National Park
Everglades Area Tours' National Park 2 Hour Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Tours is a great option for those with limited time and is also a great introduction to the area. The entire Everglades area, including Everglades National Park, is a wonderful place for to view dolphins. With over 300 species of birds throughout the year, it is the only Park that was established for its biological and ecological considerations rather than its geological features. However, most of the 1.5 million acres in the Park are flooded and essentially out of reach for the average visitor. Everglades Area Tours can you take you to areas seldom reached by others. In comfortable captain's style seating, you will be safely brought deep into Everglades National Park's 10,000 Islands for an interpretive tour with your naturalist guide. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds. Not only will you be introduced to the wonderful birding and wildlife in the area, you will also learn about the Everglades ecosystems, it rich heritage and long history. We limit each experience to six guests, so you can expect an intimate experience in the wilderness. Don't forget your cameras, hats, sunblock and drinks

5.00We had a blast. It wad a 4 hour drive round trip to do this excursion and it was well worth it. Don our boat captain was very knowledgeable. We saw many types of birds, dolphins wave riding, jumping fish, and mush more. We definitely recommend it.

A nice tour of the saltwater Everglades

4.00The four members of my family were lucky to have a private tour with a friendly and knowledgeable captain through the saltwater area of the Everglades. We did not see manatees, which are my favorites, but we did see numerous dolphins playing around the boat, bald eagles, and a wide variety of shorebirds. A two hour cruise was one I would recommend, particularly for people who do not have prior experience boating around the mangrove swamps.

5.00Don was an excellent tour guide and captain. We learned so much about the ecosystem of the Everglades and the bird species. At the end we even saw some dolphins coming next to the boat. Highly recommend this tour.
This tour has no alligators.

4.00If there is an earlier trip, I recommend going earlier the better. We went at 11 and only saw dolphins and different birds. We did see a bald eagle’s nest with baby and parent. Thee or four osprey nexts and babies and parents, and lots of other bird species!

5.00Great way to spend a few hours, exploring the mangroves and catching sight of the wildlife. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Recommend this trip as it’s a few hours well spent.

1.00I had turned wrong and got to the dock 40 Min. Late the women I talked to said it was ok we were the only ones who had signed up for the trip. Then I tried to call again to update my eta and could not get through because of the interruption to cell service that day. The boat left just as we pulled into the parking area. We don’t get to go even though she said it was ok when we talked to her.
