What To Expect

Participants of this program will learn how to prepare an original Austrian Apple Strudel. During the class you will be guided by an experienced chef. Small Groups of 3 to 5 people will be asked to fully partake in all the stages of preparation. Activities such as stretching out the pastry can be a lot of fun and the whole experience of making the strudel is guaranteed to be as rewarding as enjoying the final outcome itself. Additional to the Apple Strudel, participants have the chance to try their hands on to one of the most famous and spectacular Dessert in Salzburg - the Salzburger Nockerl or depends on the program shape your own flufy salzburg prezel. The program also includes a traditional goulash soup for lunch which will be served before you get your own baked creations (vegetarian/vegan lunch option also available).

The best time we ever had making strudel .We were working with other people making the strudel . we had a lot of fun. You could drink wine if you wish good for children also

This was a great experience with not a huge time commitment. The course was well organized, flowed very smoothly. Things are prepared in advance to make it about the doing and completing not as much of the prep work and a very efficient use of time to learn to the important baking skills. The lunch was light and I not surprised for overall cost was affordable. Salad in addition to stew would make it feel more substantial. Altogether the course very much delivered on our expectations.

We made a raspberry soufflé and apple strudel and they made it so easy and fun. Everyone was smiling and chatting and our teacher was sweet and fun! We were served a goulash, which was more soup than what I’m used to; and it was delicious! Then we ate our own soufflé and strudel— both were amazing!! I highly recommend this class! You will have strudel to take home too! My favorite was the soufflé, and I would love their recipe!!

A wonderful experience all round!! I booked this for my husbands 60th birthday! A must do if you are holidaying in the Salzburg area!! The instruction was clear and precise. We made Apple Strudrl and Nockerel and feel competent to make them at home. A stunning setting beneath built into the hillside… like a cave inside. Met other fellow travellers also enjoying the experience. A memorable activity !!
