This was an amazing experience. My daughter organised the trip with Mosaic, and Mr Madhav Prasad was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. Everything was taken care of—from picking us up at Kathmandu airport, to accommodation, flights to and from Lukla, and all travel, food, and lodging during our Everest Base Camp trek. We chose to do a private trek, just the two of us, and Mosaic made it seamless by providing both a guide and a porter. I also found the experience to be very reasonably priced for what was included. At 62, I did find parts of the trek challenging towards the end, but our guide Manu (Manoj) and our porter Khotange were exceptional. Khotange kindly carried extra weight for me when needed, and on the final day Manu even arranged a horse so I could finish the journey comfortably. Their care and support truly made all the difference. Everything about the experience—from interacting with locals, to the breathtaking scenery, and the quality of the food—made this an unforgettable adventure. Yes, it was cold at times and physically demanding, but that’s all part of what made it so rewarding. Manu also did a fantastic job managing our flights to and from Lukla. We were fortunate to get on the first flights each time without delays, which I understand is quite rare—he clearly knows exactly how to navigate the system. Manu and Khotange made this trek incredibly special, and I cannot thank them enough. Many thanks to Manu, Khotange, and Madhav for such an incredible experience. Robert (Dad) and Michaela

A lifelong dream to see Mount Everest in person was effortlessly fulfilled thanks to Mosaic Adventure and our amazing guides Purna Adhikari and Ramesh Adhikari. Traveling from rural Maine we had a long journey. Arriving at Kathmandu airport was intimidating and chaotic, our guide was waiting to greet us with a sign and a car to transport us to our hotel. The following morning we had a great breakfast and thorough briefing of our journey. We spent our free day purchasing additional trekking gear and taking in Kathmandu. Our guides picked us up at the hotel for our flight to Lukla and got us through the chaos of Kathmandu airport. Each evening after dinner we were briefed on what to expect the next day, we ordered our breakfast and oftentimes socialized with the guides. The sections of the treks were well plan and very manageable. Purna kept our pace in check to ensure we didn’t rush it. The stops to water and meals were perfectly timed. Every aspect of the trek was thought out. We are already planning for our next adventure with Mosaic.

What a wonderful experience! Our EBC trek was made successful by the great and caring team of Mosaic Adventure. Started with the capable hands of Mr. Madhav Prasad ji -- from the very first correspondence email to the final goodbye, Mr. Madhav ensured that he replies to every/ any query with utmost attention, transparency, and urgency. Moreover, he genuinely cares that his clients walk away with an experience of a lifetime! Next the ground crew of Mr. Kumar B (guide) and Lakshman + Bijay (sherpa)-- very caring, smiling, and loving; looked after us like a family and made our journey very comfortable and went above & beyond their scope of responsibilities. Truly, Mosaic Adventure made our EBC journey memorable! Unfortunately, the system doesn't allow me to accord a rating of 10 out of 5 :)

The tour was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our guide Ramesh always led us safely through the mountains and was always friendly, warm, and definitely contagious with his smile. I was particularly impressed by the many exciting pieces of information about culture, religion, as well as the surrounding mountains and the Himalayas – you definitely take a lot of knowledge home with you. Before the trip, we were advised to lower our expectations for the accommodations a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised here as well. After the hikes, you definitely have a big appetite, which is perfect because the portions are really generous.

We were very impressed with the professionalism and experience of Mosaic Adventures and would go through them again, especially because of the way they handled my delayed baggage and other before and after aspects of the trip. You can trust that Madhav knows what he is talking about with all aspects of the trip and will take care of you. Our guide, Sonam, was excellent. He has a great balance between the business and personable side of his job. He is exact, efficient, thorough. His recommendations were always good, showing he knows the places and people well. He is also caring and has a good sense of humor. He especially took care of me when I was sick, making sure I had the right nutrition and health care I needed. He may have been just as hapoy as I was that I made it to Everest Base Camp. I could not have done it without him. He is a good ambassador for his culture and region. Sonam's team worked well too. We enjoyed working with his assistant, Lila.

We had a wonderful experience trekking to EBC in Kay 2026! Our guide, Sonam, was fantastic! Our assistant Gide, Lila, was also great. The accommodations and meals before, during, and after the trek were all wonderful. Further, I was impressed with the way that Sonam was able to get things done on schedule and with great kindness. I highly recommend Mosaic Adventures for your Nepal trek!

My Everest Base Camp trek with "Mosaic Adventure" was truly an unforgettable experience. Traveling solo in the Himalayas can feel intimidating, but from the very beginning everything was organized perfectly, and I always felt supported and safe. A huge thank you to Purna , who guided me throughout the entire journey. Trekking one-on-one with Purna made the experience even more special. He was incredibly professional, attentive, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about the mountains and local culture. He always knew how to adjust the pace, motivated me on difficult days, and made sure I was comfortable at every stage of the trek. Beyond being an excellent guide, Purna was also great company in the quiet beauty of the Himalayas. Sharing this journey through Sagarmatha with him made the experience feel personal, authentic, and memorable in a way I’ll never forget. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mosaic Adventure and especially Purna to anyone dreaming of trekking to Everest Base Camp. A once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Travelled to Everest Base Camp, and it wouldn't have been possible without the people at Mosaic. The guide, Buddha, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly during the entire trip; together with the porters made my journey a once-in-a-lifetime unforgettable experience. The Journey to EBC also provided some of the best scenery.

Words can’t describe how amazing this trek was with Mosaic Adventures. From the minute I contacted Madhav via email, then WhatsApp, my inquiries and many subsequent questions were answered immediately. I had just decided (3) weeks prior to take this adventure, and reviewed many trekking companies, but felt most impressed and connected to Mosaic. It is also a Nepalese owned company which I wanted to support. My trek was 3/30-4/12/26 with my fabulous guide, Pralhad and porter, Laxman. I could not have asked for a more experienced, professional, kind, caring, motivating team. Always a smile and genuine concern for my wellbeing. They have built a community of “family” and connections along the trek during 20 years of experience. It was so nice to see the tea houses, restaurants, guides, porters all engaging in kinship and friendship along the trek. All my needs were met from the very beginning such as : Picking me up at the airport. Driving me to the hotel. “Kathmandu Suite Hotel”. (Another great review I will write) Meeting at the hotel to review the itinerary and my gear for accuracy and weight limits. Travel and logistics to airport for flight to Lukla, also included. Pralhad had it all planned out ,thank goodness, because the airport was crazy with large crowds of people trying to get through security and flights to Lukla and other places. I would have been lost in all the chaos. Landing in Lukla to start our adventure. Handling all the permit fees/check ins along the trek. Beautiful welcoming tea houses with comfortable rooms and great food. (FYI: the rooms are not heated so have good sleeping bag) They provide comforters which I covered my bag with and I was toasty warm. The main tea house room is heated. Highly recommend the ginger lemon honey tea. Meals are included (except beverages) and can choose from a variety of choices from the tea house menu. Acclimation days to help with altitude and to enjoy the beauty of the experience. The pace was perfect as we usually left around 6:30-7am in the morning after breakfast and were at our next destination by 12-2pm. Breathing taking scenery every step of the way. Pralhad would always check in with his watchful experienced eye and noticed if a break was needed or pace adjusted. I never felt rushed. (BTW: I was with one other trekker , a 6’4” 20 year young adventurer who was the most wonderful young man) Needless to say, I’m 63, but I did keep up for the most part!) Pralhad kept within distance watchful eye on both of us. Never out of range or ear shot. Successful summit to Everest base camp!! Weather the entire time was in our favor. Beautiful spring blooming and gardens growing. We did have mild snow storm on the way back to Lukla, but it was beautiful to walk in snowy landscape. Back in Lukla the weather held flights up (3) days. Airport closes if too dangerous to fly out as entire area is enveloped in clouds. FYI: best to have a few extra days pre/post in case this happens. Plus, Kathmandu is a beautiful vibrant city to explore. I wish I had more time to experience it, but my schedule was tight. Luckily, the next morning a window opened and flights resumed, but by the time our flight was to leave, the airport closed again. Pralhad knew I had a flight within a narrow timeline. He was not sure when Lukla airport might open again. It is very unpredictable. ( again give yourself a buffer) , and suggested I could take a helicopter back to Kathmandu as to not miss my flight. They were still flying helicopters at that point, but did eventually shut down as well due to the weather. I very much appreciated his concern and suggestion. I asked him to check if it was a possibility and he immediately went to work in it. He was able to get me the last seat on the last flight out! Again, an amazing man!! I tell you, the helicopter ride was one of the highlights as well. It was so beautiful to see the landscape of Nepal at a lower altitude. Such fun! I did have to pay a small supplement to fly but it was well worth it and also not to miss my flight out from Kathmandu. I was picked up at the airport by Mosaic and brought back to the Kathmandu Suite hotel where I spent the day exploring Thamel district (shopping/food/excitement) and an Uber to see the Swayambhunath “Temple of the Monkeys” which I highly recommend. Again, if you can, give yourself extra time because Kathmandu is such a fun exciting city. I felt safe walking by myself with no issues. The hotel is conveniently located in the Thamel district. It has rooftop gardens/restaurant with views of the city and the food is delicious !! The next day my flight was in the evening so Mosaic requested a late check out (when hotel able) to 2pm. I really wanted to extend to 5:30pm and the hotel was able to assist with my request for a small extension fee, which I was grateful for. Mosaic then provided transportation to the airport for my departure home in a timely fashion, so arrived without stress to my gate. Again, every step of the way on this adventure was stress free and all my needs met. As a side note, I experienced some Gastrointestinal issues during the trek which kept exacerbating as we went along. I was taking the medications to assist that I had brought, but it wasn’t resolving. I was hoping I would feel better , but Pralhad wasn’t so optimistic. In Namche, with his concern, he suggested I should go to the Namche hospital/doctor before we proceed any further in elevation and possible care. He brought me there and the doctor/staff were so helpful and provided an extensive assessment and multiple medications that relieved my issues within a day or 2. $60 US money for everything in which I was given paperwork to submit to my insurance company. I could go on and on as I already have, but I wanted to share one of the most memorable heartwarming experiences of my life with the most amazing team of truly wonderful people I have ever met. They treated me as they would treat a beloved family member. I am planning my next adventure to the Annapurna circuit next year with Mosaic adventures !! I seriously can not wait!! I will also be sure to schedule a few extra days before /after to explore more of Kathmandu. Namaste 🙏
