Waste of time for my wife and i coming from Connecticut

1.00There’s no coverage in case it start to rain. My wife and I got there early there’s no parking. We wait an hour and a half just to have the tour canceled because they over booked. We were on time, but the boat wasn’t so we waited an extra half an hour before finding out that we were going on the boat. And we came all the way from Connecticut. Lady on the boat told us we come back tomorrow or get a refund. It was a big waste of time. I felt like I was scammed. now I’m just waiting on my refund.

2.00The boat is old and dingy. There are no signs what so ever for this compony when you arrive by taxi. It says be 20 Mins early but the boat did not even pull up until our departure time and then we left 20 mins late, returning 20 mins late. There was a recording playing over the loud speaker with information but it did not coincide with what we were currently passing so it didn’t make much sense. Def do not recommend, I’d spend some more money and do a nicer tour.

1.00Worst experience ever. After we booked the experience, followed the directions given and arrived 1 hour in advance. There was no one at the location to assist, no directions, we were lead to a dead end. This is an extreme safety concern for out of towners like myself. After frequent calls I finally got someone on the phone just to tell me our tour was cancelled without notice. We found someone in a ticket booth 20 mins later and he said: Quote; this happens all the time on a daily. They take your money and the rest is up to you. Never book this experience and customer service is non existent.

5.00We truly enjoyed 90 -minute tour from Pier 78 the Brooklyn Bridge to the New York Harbor and a close view of the Statue of Liberty, them up to the Brooklyn Bridge and back to the dock. We sailed on a fine, modest sized ship with accommodations, good places to sit, and plenty of space inside and out for viewing the sights. As a frequent visitor to New York (and former resident) I have seen these sights many times over the years. But never aboard a ship. And I can say without hesitation that there is something particularly glorious and inspiring about viewing it all from the rivers. Plus, kudos to Rachel who did a thorough job of describing in detail everything we passed by on our journey. She has a lovely voice and knows her stuff. She has a true kinship with sailing and life on the water--the real deal. Given all this, $30 per person seemed well worth it.

1.00Very pathetic service from Viator. I booked this trip for Statue of Liberty seeing trip scheduled on 1 Sep at 7:30 PM while my visit to New York as tourist. but it never happened as it was cancelled by operator. Tried to communicate to both aviator & operator for my refund but no refund as yet. So I have paid for service along with international calls for refund request which I never received. I would never use or suggest to book anything from Viator.

5.00Great crew on board, great price for service! We took our two children, so it was enough time to keep their interest. Lots of time to see the statue for each side of the boat, ample time to take pictures from different angles and enjoy the scenery.
