5.00I joined this Muay Thai beginner class in Chiang Mai and ended up enjoying it much more than I expected. The trainer was friendly, patient, and very good at explaining each move in a simple way, so I never felt lost even as a first timer. We worked on basic punches, kicks, knees, and some pad work, which was tiring but really fun. The class had a relaxed local feel, and I liked that it was challenging without being intimidating. I left sweaty, smiling, and with a much better appreciation for Muay Thai.
