15 years of living in Barcelona has left Adi with a great knowledge of the city and a love for Barcelona that shines through. It was a pleasure to spend time in his company. A great sense of humour too. Book him, you won't regret your choice.

Amazing tour made possible by Alessandro’s great knowledge. As a guide, he really connects with his guests and shares a unique perspective. This is quite possibly the best tour I’ve ever done.

Adi was fabulous- so professional, knowledgeable and entertaining. He showed us and explained points of interest that we otherwise would never have even noticed. Highly recommend.

Awesome tour with Sebastian - Grounded history, engaging, started at Gran Teatre del Liceu, went into the Gothic quarter, into the Jewish quarter, sharing the historic significance of each section. He was a great sport as it was pouring and shared a super comprehensive restaurant list and his favorite rock and metal bar. Would definitely take another tour with him next time we're in Barcelona!

We booked a 1.5hr introduction to Barcelona tour. Having read such excellent reviews of With Locals we chose this company. How disappointing - I think we got a poor guide. We had Marina and it was a complete waste of money and time. She was pleasant but basically knew very little about the city. When does the cathedral date to? “I don’t know” For example Stunningly walked past a fresco/statue and she said “please don’t ask what this is, I have no clue” She repeatedly asked us what we wanted to know. We wanted an introductory tour of Barcelona. We didn’t know what there was to know which is why we wanted an introduction on our first day to get a general orientation. The idea was a good one but the execution was awful. We were actually bored! Later in our week in Barcelona we saw how much she could’ve shown us or suggested areas for us to visit. An introductory tour should be a perfect start to your visit but not this one.

Tomas was attentive to my husbands reduced mobility but still able to show us a beautiful part of Barcelona. He was a wonderful guide who knows his history well but also knows the best Torrone shop in Spain.

Alessandro's knowledge of Barcelona's history (and of that of the Mediterranean) spans mediaeval through to present day. He expanded in more detail when asked about particular issues. We walked around the city and he described the past and current function of a variety of places and buildings. Where past infrastructure has been lost, he would describe where it had been, eg the Roman wall. Look 1.5hrs is just not enough. If you are considering a booking, try for a longer tour. A great guide, can't recommend him enough.

Jordi grew up in Barcelona. Is trained /schooled as an architect which added to his excellent knowledge of the city history and architecture - he was very friendly , timely , patient , and overall a very nice person. Our group of 6 were all very happy with the tour and even asked him to join us for lunch but he had more tours to give .
