The current railway bridge was inaugurated on 24 June 1992. It is written by a Portuguese Engineer - Edgar Cardoso. The next tower was built by the same Engineer at the height of the bridge to study the progress of the work.

5.00This experience was so wonderful!! We last minute wanted to book a sunset boat ride and couldn’t be happier we chose this. Meeting spot was easy and the boat was perfect. We learned a bit about the city as we embarked and sipped wine/ snacked but then were given time to sit on the front and just enjoy!! A perfect combo of learning and relaxation. We will def be recommending this to our friends. Thank you Susana and Sergio!!!

Their kindness, approachability, and professionalism were exceptional. Throughout the experience, they explained every detail with passion and dedication, making everything even more special. We enjoyed a fantastic morning sailing with them in a relaxed and very welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, they offered us cava, champagne, tapas, and delicious food, taking care of every detail to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. 5.00Absolutely perfect moment. Suzanna takes great care of us throughout the trip and tells us the history of the bridges. Sergio is a very experienced pilot and makes the trip very relaxing even when the water is choppy! I highly recommend this experience!

5.00This is a great way to see Porto from the river. The hosts were really friendly & made us feel at ease aboard their boat. They dished up a delicious tapas with green wine which was also delicious. Susanna was very informative & answered any questions we had. A great way to spend a couple of hours in Porto. Would definitely recommend

5.00Despite the weather, this cruise was excellent! It felt like we were cruising with our friends. Susanna and Sergio did a terrific job with wonderful wine, charcuterie, and a great cruise down the Douro river, including good conversation! Definitely book this trip worth it! The boat was immaculate!
