Highly recommend this tour. If you’re lucky enough, like us, you’ll get Peter Fox as your tour guide! He was fantastic & shared so manny interesting facts. I’m so happy we booked this tour, Peter took us to lots of spots we never would have found without him.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Mountain Goat Tours – 6 Lake Tour (Windermere) We had a fantastic experience with Mountain Goat Tours on their 6 Lake Tour from Windermere! A special thank you to Andy C, who kindly stepped up at the last minute due to staff sickness. Despite the rainy weather and a few unexpected road closures, Andy kept everything running smoothly and made the day so enjoyable. His deep knowledge of the Lake District’s history, wildlife, and local life really brought the landscape to life for us. Andy managed to keep the tour both informative and fun, adapting plans with good humour and professionalism. We saw so many beautiful spots and learned so much more than we expected. The views of Dewentwater were stunning & Castlewrigg stone circle Is a sight you must see that is older than Stone Henge Would definitely recommend this tour (and Andy!) to anyone visiting the Lakes – even on a rainy day, it’s well worth it! Even though we didn’t get to see any red squirrels!

We didn’t have long in the lakes and this was a lovely way to see the highlights and whet our appetites for further adventures. Our guide Andy was a hub of knowledge and a real pleasure to spend time with

The tour was excellent from beginning to end. The gentleman who took us was a first class driver and kept us interested with so much information. He was extremely knowledgeable. Can’t unfortunately remember his name but on 12th September 10am he picked us up in Ambleside and dropped us back there at the end of the tour. The scenery was superb, the weather not so but it didn’t detract from a lovely morning. Just wished we had booked all day instead of just the morning!! We really enjoyed every minute.

We had the 6 Lakes tour with Tim, a thoroughly entertaining half day for my wife and daughter. My daughter as she got some nice photos and for my wife she liked Tim's sense of humour, as we both did. Factual, enough facts without being overwhelmed and funny as he put his own spin on things. Great job Tim! We look forward to returning and seeing if we can get you for another tour.
