Dalai Lama Temple, also known as Tsuglakhang Temple, is a politico-religious center in Dharamsala. Ideal for peaceful meditation and religious rumination, the temple is full of lamas at all points of the day chanting on prayer wheels or beads.

Namgyal Monastery

Namgyal Monastery closely associated with all the Dalai Lamas since the third personal monastery of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso founded back in the 16th century. The monastery has been named in honor of the female long-life deity of the Kriya Tantra class in Tibetan Buddhism, Namgyalma.

The lush tea gardens allow tourists to enjoy a picturesque view of the area located at an altitude of 4780 feet, the shadow of the Dhauladhar Mountains adds to the enchantment as you stroll through the narrow paths.
