You'll arrive at Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once there, you'll take a short journey through the volcanic, moss-laden fields of the park. Here, you will listen as your friendly and experienced PADI Divemaster guide.
Later, you'll receive all of the necessary equipment for snorkeling in Silfra, including neoprene hoods and gloves, a thermal drysuit, snorkel and fins. The equipment will keep you buoyant throughout your time in the fissure, as well as offering a protection against the water.
Once in the water, your eyes will meet the incredible shades of blue so prevalent in the fissure, as well as the natural under-water flora canyon walls. As you are swimming you will have the opportunity to swim across continents, as you will be switching back and forth from the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. After the tour GoPRO pictures will be sent to you by email for free.

Wonderful experience! We went in June and had a wonderful time! Julia was our guide, she was awesome. It was about 30 minutes of snorkeling, followed by free time swimming in the lagoon. We strongly recommend!

A wonderful experience in beautiful surroundings. The water was very cold, but the suit made it only cold on the face. Joaquin's team did an excellent job with the preparation. He guided us safely and in good spirits through the gorge.

Fantastic experience with Abbie and Luca! Quite the process and adventure, great fun and a forever-memorable experience. Abbie and Luca made it 100%-certain everybody was feeling comfortable, in control, and having a great time! The lead-up makes you feel like it’s going to be super-cold, but it was completely tolerable. Don’t let that idea dissuade you.

The activity was excellent, a whole experience. A large part of our enjoyment was thanks to Joaquín, who was incredible with us, accompanied us throughout the activity, and was very attentive to everything we needed. Thanks to him, the whole group was able to complete the activity, and with his expertise, he helped us with snorkeling in the dry suit, something new for us. We recommend him to anyone visiting this area of Iceland; we hope to repeat it soon!

We had a great time doing the Silfra swim experience. Luca was a knowledgeable, attentive and supportive guide who made the whole experience fun and easy to enjoy. The water is definitely cold, so be prepared for that, but it’s absolutely worth it for such a unique experience. We’d also recommend planning ahead and bringing a second spare layer of thermals (top and leggings) to wear under the dry suits for extra warmth and comfort. Overall, a fantastic activity that we would highly recommend.

What an incredible experience for my family of 4. For a geology nerd like myself, and having the opportunity to snorkel between this fissure was pretty incredible. WE booked the 8:30am experience, and we were the first people to enter the fissure for the day. It was calm and the whole time we felt unrushed. Jaoquin, our guide, was simply incredible and helped my family be at ease. The dry suits, keep you dry and warm, but they can be bulky and awkward. My family of four, including my 12 and 13 year old daughters loved the experience and again, Jaoquin was great with them. The dry suits keep you warm and dry. Your face gets cold and numb, but both my wife and I after the experience, commented how our mid 40 year old wrinkles had disappeared for the rest of the day, so we'll take it as a win. We had an incredible experience and we thank the entire troll.is team for helping us discover the beauty of Iceland and Mother Earth!
