This lake cruise was part of our training with Quark Expeditions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time onboard, the weather was really good on the day. The tour lasts around 2hrs. The staff onboard were courteous and helpful. The small shop onboard had drinks and snacks for the guests.

Enjoyable and practical. We got rhe boat 6from Pooley Bridge to Howtown and return. It wasn't cheap but the crew were friendly and professional. The boat was nice inside. I didn't have a ticket to show on the way back because the battery on my phone had run out, but the man let us on when I explained.

Was a great cruise and thankfully the weather was on our side. Such a lovely and different way to see the few around Ullswater

Too many people crammed on the boat. Wooden seats very uncomfortable. Coach trip given priority over all other guests. Unable to stay on boat at Pooley Bridge causing anxiety for all passengers not wanting to get of the boat and having to queue again hoping that we would get on the boat again. Shame that it is run so badly as the views were beautiful. Went on boats on all the major lakes and they were better run and more comfy.

From boarding to leaving, one member of staff went above what I would have expected on this 2 hrs trip on ullswater lake . He continually made sure every passenger was happy and talked about the area around ulswater with such enthusiasm and dedication it was a pleasure to hear. We were travelling with a dog, and midway through the trip, he arrived with a doggie bowl of water for our four-legged friend. How thoughtful was that and asked if we were all comfortable. The trip was beautiful seeing all the lake so close up and the beautiful back drops of the hills. Amazing. For me, this experience was worth a lot as I love the lakes, and im sure it won't be too long before im back and booking another visit to this attraction . We'll done to all the staff that work expremely hard to make this experience so wonderful. Thank you Pam A

Wonderful trip from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding and back. Gorgeous weather (after starting off slightly overcast) and even managed to snap a few pics of the fighter jet fly bys. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely do this again but stop for a bit in Glenridding next time

It’s ok but not exactly comfortable, people are packed in like sardines. Feels more like a ferry than a pleasant lake cruise experience.

We LOVED our round-trip from Pooley Bridge this morning. Such a lovely way to see Ullswater and the beauty of the amazing scenery all around, however changeable the weather. The service is great. The crew couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. And the boats are gorgeous heritage craft, somehow just so fitting to the place.
