The Vancouver Lookout is open from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week with the last elevator taking guests up at 5:30 pm. Please check our website for any early or special closures.

What To Expect
Vancouver Lookout
Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977. Your ticket provides one-time access to the observation deck. We recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance to ensure that the Lookout is part of your Vancouver experience. *NOTE: The last elevator to the observation deck leaves 30 minutes before closing time. Learn about our city from information panels located throughout the deck or follow the complimentary self-guided audio tour. Free Wi-Fi is available.

5.00Booked this the night before we went using my Viator cash (nice bonus) and really enjoyed the 360 views. It wasn’t too busy at 11:00 (no lines) and we were able to walk around twice to see our favorite spots. We went to the restaurant after for lunch and cocktails.

5.00We went up the lookout on a cloudy day, but we could just about everything that was mentioned in the free audio tour. There is a lot of history included with the narration. It was beautiful! We took our time and really appreciated having this look out to go to since we weren’t able to get up to the top of Grouse Mountain! After being on the observation deck, we went to the restaurant to enjoy a drink and a bowl of soup while we turned. We enjoyed the view again. The only issue we had was finding a parking spot. There was plenty of parking nearby, but not being familiar with how to navigate the streets and Vancouver, it took us a while to get to the parking garage nearby!
