5.00This tour made our experience of Shirakawa-go memorable and a breeze to get to. Our guide Yasushi provided lots of great information on the drive up and prepared us well for what to see and do in the village. I’m glad we went early in the day before the place became too crowded but sad that some of the more popular places to eat were not open that day. Going with a tour made the trip easy and more informative than if we had made the journey on our own.

5.00It was a great experience taking a day trip to Shirakawa-go. Our tour guide was Keita, and he was very helpful. He explained a lot, gave us some background on the history of the area and the traditional house structures, and provided a very helpful map of what there is to see in the area.

5.00Keita was the most helpful and informative guide. He was very assured and provided a great deal of advice in relation to which houses in Shiragawa-go to visit. We had more than enough time to explore the village and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
