5.00We actually did a custom 2 day trip to Akagera including a boat trip, loding, and two game drives. Our guide, Francis, is incredibly knowledgable about all aspects of conservation biology. He knows many of the ~700 species of birds found in Rwanda, and he also knows interesting facts about each species. He also guided us to see many kinds of mammals including lions, elephant, rhinos, hippos, crocs baboons, and warthogs. He is a great driver and navigated a downpour and some minor car issues without difficulty. We would love to go back and also would recommend Francis as a guide. The company itself was very flexible in accommodating our needs!

5.00An Unforgettable 2-Day Akagera Safari with Game Drives and Boat Tour My safari in Akagera was an all-around wonderful experience that I will certainly never forget. The support beforehand was super friendly, transparent, and helpful – all my questions were answered quickly and clearly. To be honest, before the trip I wasn’t sure whether I was really the “safari type” and whether the expense would be worth it for me. Today I can say without hesitation: it absolutely was. A special thank you goes to my guide. With great knowledge, experience, and dedication, he turned the safari into a true highlight. His understanding of wildlife and landscapes, as well as his calm, attentive manner and patience, contributed greatly to making this safari such a memorable experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend both Akagera National Park, with its rich and diverse wildlife, and Rwanda Eco Company & Safaris.

5.00Did the 2 day Akagera tour together with a friend. We were very impressed with the park and how everything was arranged. Elvis was an awesome guide and was very enthousiastic about the park and its wildlife.

5.00My wife and I planned a two day Akegera National Park Safari with Eco Tours. From beginning to end it was a great experience. The level of communication is top notch. Remember though that there is a 9hr time difference so be patient for them to respond within that time frame. Our guide, Elvis, was amazing! He picked us up in time and always made recommendations on how our safari could be the best. He was very knowledgeable not only about the park but also the animals and any other Rwanda info you would like. Loved our trip! Thanks Eco Tours!

5.00From start to finish this tour company was just the best. They have been friendly and accommodating. The safari truck was comfortable and well stocked with water. We had Thio as our guide who was very informative and brought us to spots that had a high percentage of seeing the animals we wanted to see. The boat ride is worth it to see some of the animals you wont see on the drive. If you are considering a Akagera tour this is the company you want to go with.

5.00Incredible excursion! Very professional team, very competent and kind guide who also spoke French. A pair of binoculars would not have been too much. But otherwise, great! Picnic is a meal in a restaurant , outdoors . I highly recommend

5.00I went on a day trip from Kigali to Akagera NP and back in a group with 4 friends. This was the best game drive I have ever been on, and our guide Shadaday was outstanding and did an excellent job spotting animals, communicating with park rangers and colleagues to get excellent intel for the day, and drove safely. Everything, went well on this trip, and the only thing I would do differently next time would be to spend more than 1 day in Akagera NP since there is so much to see and experience, and one day didn’t feel like enough time. We saw tons of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, white rhinoceros, impala, water buffalo, warthogs, crocodiles, hippos, a wide variety of birds including the Goliath heron and African Sea Eagle. I would definitely recommend this company for booking a day trip, or other adventures in Rwanda!
Can’t wait to do it again!

5.00Amazing day. Saw all the big animals. Abu, the guide was fun and so knowledgeable about everything in Africa. Great price for a solo trip. And the owner, Reginal gladly accommodated a quick booking one day before the trip.

5.00We can recommend the 1 day Safari. We saw 4/5 of the big five and additionally our driver Kevin was the best guide/ driver we could ever imagine. He has eyes like an eagle, he knows everything about the nature and we felt very comfortable to drive with him. The day was from the beginning till the end well organized. It was a perfect day for us!
