A combination of beautiful landscapes that are marked with open savannah and more than 10 lakes including Ihema, The second largest rift valley lake of Rwanda. It offers magnificent views and encounters. Akagera national park is home to Rwanda’s big five mammals, more than 500 birds species and several other wildlife species.
On the way to Akagera, we make a short stop over to Imigongo Art center for the stretching, use the bathroom, grab a drink or take something to eat if you have skipped the breakfast. 5.00This was our first time visiting Akagera National Park, and Paul, our tour guide, was absolutely exceptional. He was incredibly attentive to detail and made sure we had the best possible experience sightseeing. We were lucky enough to spot giraffes, lions, antelopes, zebras, and many other amazing animals. Paul picked us up from our home and gave us an unforgettable ride through the city, all the way to the park and back. He made our day even more memorable by helping with a surprise proposal, capturing breathtaking photos that we will cherish forever. We will never forget Paul and the incredible experience he gave us. If you're thinking of booking a tour, don’t hesitate, trust me, it will be one of the best experiences of your life!

5.00It was an amazing experience! The driver was on time, took us to get coffee, and drove well on rugged roads. We got to see so many animals! And lunch was included! I recommend this Safari to anyone. So convenient they can pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.

5.00He was very friendly. My friend needed to go to a pharmacy and he stopped there to get what she needed. He made it a game to see who saw the first animal. He had on his phone a lions roar to get movement from the lion. He was knowledgeable on the animal and where to find them. He was willing to answer any questions.

5.00Superb day, simply unforgettable, spent in this beautiful park! Our drivers and guides, Arniche and Eustache, were exceptional. Their extensive knowledge of the park and the animals was remarkable, and they showed great care to ensure that we could observe as many animals as possible. I highly recommend this safari to all lovers of animals and nature. Thanks again to Arniche and Eustache for this memorable experience!
