Pura Luhur Poten is a Hindu temple located under the foot of Mount Bromo. This temple is the center of religious activities of the majority Tengger tribe who are Hindu. You can visit this place by walking as far as 200 meters from the car park area.

5.00The trip was spectacular. The views were out of this world! Small group - 6 in a jeep. Convoy style trip. An adventure that I won't forget. The driver was good and prompt. The company kept me fully informed via WhatsApp for pick up etc. You need to be physically active and able to walk quite a bit especially to the crater edge. There are horses to take people at a small charge to the steps for the crater. The crater was amazing and must be seen! It's a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed. The only thing to mention is that it is a very tiring trip. Collection at midnight and doesn't return until 12 pm. Roads are very bumpy and uncomfortable at times, but we'll worth it. The photographer was not very attentive and we did not receive any photos! There was no guide to give information and I feel that let it down. Not the best English speaking tour as we had no information at all.

5.00To be really honest and genuine, coming from Singaporeans, it was such a beautiful experience for me and my friends, visiting these really scenic and eye-catching places. Moreover, everything went very smoothly with the help of our patient drivers Praseno and Pak Wawan as well as our activity guide, Henry, who did not only ensured our safety at all times but also ensured that we had a blast throughout the various places and activities. Henry was very friendly and kind with us and made our whole experience much more memorable. Kudos to Henry. Well done once again Smartway, we are really contented and glad that we chose your company to be a part of our journey. We will 100% come again in the near future.

5.00I 100% recommend this tour. The visit to Mount Bromo was beautiful, and we also visited other incredible places. The guide, Sandi, is an excellent person. He speaks great English and helped me a lot on the climb to Mount Bromo. He answered all my questions and made me feel safe the whole time. The driver, Mr. Dika, was excellent at driving the entire trip, and both he and Sandi made the trip entertaining and enjoyable. Don't hesitate to choose them!
Well worth the early start!

5.00I had a great time on this tour. The staff were friendly and punctual. Everything was well organized, and we arrived with plenty of time to secure a great spot to view the sunrise. I liked the fact that it was a small group. Viewing the crater was well worth the effort and we arrived early enough to ascend the many steps without waiting, unlike the crowds which followed us.

Your knowledge and passion for the area were evident, and we especially appreciated you going out of your way to help us capture the most amazing photos of the sunrise and the landscape. Your local food recommendations (not a complete Bromo trip without meat balls!) were also spot on! A special thank you to Pak Suar, our steady and reliable driver. He navigated the early morning roads with expertise and was always there, ready and waiting to take us to our next destination. It made the whole day feel so seamless. His English is excellent, so communication was effortless. Being a graduate, Sandi is very knowledgeable and shared interesting insights about the area, culture, and history. What impressed us most was his sense of timing — he knew exactly when and where to go to catch the best views and avoid the heavy crowds.
