it is a lifetime encounter that you wouldn’t want to miss out on the moment you get an opportunity to visit Rwanda. Wake up early in the morning at 4:30 am and drive off to the park. It’s a 112 km long drive to get to the Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri, Musanze province which is a habitat to the endangered Mountain gorillas. You can take visually attractive pictures from the different stopovers along the journey and also get to have a cup of coffee. At exactly 8.30 am, we move to the park’s headquarters in Kinigi Village where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing Gorilla tracking. You are distributed into different groups and then sent off into the forest. The trek takes an hour to about 8 more depending on where the gorillas had been the previous day. The experience was worth every penny and more. My guide Muhammad was exceptional. The ride to the gorillas, he answered my many questions about Rwanda with a friendly and enthusiastic nature. The gorillas experience was fantastic. The mountain guides were professional yet friendly and we got very close to the many gorillas, including being charged by the silver back at the end. But as we were told prior to the trekk, the charge was a bluff, but still very exciting. The experience was so good, I will be back and hope to have Muhammad again.

I love the experience, and what a privilege to witness such of animals in there own turf. A overcast day is what photographers needs for pictures perfect and thats what we had. The staff (driver) Mico was outstanding, considering the task need, and very helpful with his knowledge, clean and comfortable vehicle, serving me with water and meal . Excellent choice of restaurant for the way home. Thank you to you all, great job. Jacques of Canada

Excellent and kind service provided. Our guide and driver took great care of us, with all support possible to make us comfortable. On top, he took us to a great restaurant for a delicious lunch. A day we never will forget.

It was an excellent expetience. Driver was excellent . The Gorilla sighting was well organised and we had a lot of help, even physially going up. Information by tour guide was very good, great information. Even the driver gave us good information on the way. Thanks

Great experience- they worked hard to get us permits and communication was quick and consistent. Showed up in a nice black Land Cruiser drove us all day. Very kind and helpful. Also saw Gorillas!!🦍

I had the chance to spend a morning up close and personal with gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, and what an experience! Passionate and exciting guides, a few meters from the gorillas... All masterfully organized by Alain, with a special mention for the adaptation because everything is last minute!
