In this one day Jinja holiday excursion, travelers will enjoy Uganda's nature, culture and leisure oriented, experiences, visiting Sezibwa falls, nature walk in Mabira Forest and climaxing with a leisurely visit to the source of River Nile - world's longest river! Morning - Transfer to Jinja from Kampala or Entebbe; depending on time of arrival Travel through the lush Mabira forest, where you will take a nature walk to the Griffin falls, and view numerous primates and birds. Go to Sezibwa falls - a very scenic part of this tour, and a great historical site for the Baganda; learn about the history of these scenic falls, visit a resident traditional doctor and proceed to Jinja city. Upon arrival, take a few photos at the new Jinja cable bridge, and go for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to visiting the source of River Nile - a very legendary river which begins its 5000 mile journey from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean. Just before returning to Kampala, go for city tour for some craft shopping and photography. End of tour.

5.00Virgin Uganda Safari Experience with Standard Safaris Staff was responsive and did their best to accede to our requests. The entire safari journey was great with Brian being an experienced guide (many years under his belt), ability to spot animals and knowledgable enough to answer all the questions that we had about the culture, wildlife and primates in Uganda.

5.00I had the most incredible safari experience with Standard Safaris in Uganda! From the very start, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region and wildlife. Every aspect of the tour was meticulously organized, making the entire journey smooth and stress-free. Our guide was outstanding, passionate about Uganda’s wildlife and conservation efforts, and had an incredible eye for spotting animals even in the most hidden places. Thanks to him, we saw the famous Big Five and so much more, including breathtaking landscapes that left us speechless. The accommodations arranged were comfortable and charming, providing the perfect blend of comfort and a true wilderness experience. I felt safe and well cared for throughout the trip. Standard Safaris went above and beyond to ensure our group had a personalized and memorable experience. 5.00This was definitely the best safari of our lifetime. Right from Entebbe airport, Coleb met us for a de-briefing session, and escorted to Karibu Guesthouse where we were meant to spend a night before the start of our 10 days safari. He took us through the itinerary to make sure we are both on the same page. The following morning, the trip to Murchison Falls N/Park began so early so we could beat Kampala traffic. By 11:00am we were already trekking rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary; a wonderful place in north-central Uganda that hosts the only surviving rhinos. The trip from Murchison falls to Bwindi impenetrable forest went beyond and above our expectations. The people are friendly; food was delicious and well served in all the lodges we slept in; but most importantly we thank Standard Safaris for putting everything together! We shall obviously come back to Uganda.

5.00We had a wonderful time with Standard Safaris while in Uganda. After our professional research in Fortportal, we contacted "Day trip" for a transfer to Entebbe international airport. Standard safaris happens to be the ground-handlers for Day trip in Uganda and they got everything right. Coleb and Denis were right on time and so informative. It wasn't just a transfer but a whole joyous experience up to Entebbe. Thank you. And we promise to book with them a longer safari on our return.

5.00I was supposed to travel to Uganda in 2020, just after covid-19 deadly lockdown but postponed till 2022. I contacted Standard Safaris for a safari booking. Coleb's response was always accurate and prompt and I was delighted to be offered a great package to Jinja, Bwindi NP, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth NP which was an affordable offer. I was picked at the airport and transferred to my hotel for my safari. I had an awesome experience. Thank you guys.

5.00I was on the tour with Coleb and Moses and really enjoyed it. The trip was well organized and they made me feel like I was traveling with 2 friends. It included a forest walk, Sezibwa falls and a very comprehensive tour of Jinja where you also learn about it’s history. Both were very knowledgeable could answer all my questions, gave me some great advice and also helped to take some awesome pictures. Therefore I decided to book another tour with Standard Safaris.

5.00The tour with Standard Safaris was absolutely the best we've ever undertaken in our lifetime. Right from the planning, Coleb was more than helpful, quick in his responses, and always informative. We started off with a short visit to Jinja for adventure, later went gorilla trekking (highlight of the safari), flew for wildebeest migration in Masai Mara -Kenya, and then Volcanoes national park in Rwanda, boat trips, and the diverse of cultures in East Africa is what caught us by surprise. We should have booked for more days to explore the off-the-beaten paths destinations and attractions to get insights into the real African way of living (may be next time :))). The hotels that Standard Safaris picked were all spot on, and our tour guide was informed, friendly and so caring. we will not easily forget this safari until we book for more of our African safaris with Standard Safaris.
