The most representative scenic spot of Longji terraces is Ping'an Terraces Fields, there are two unique landscapes which are " 9 Dragons and 5 Tigers"and "Seven Stars with the Moon" ,"9 Dragons" refers to the nine small ridges where the main vein of the Dragon's Ridge branches off, and "5 Tigers" refers to the five slightly raised hills here."Kowloon" and "Five Tigers" are all surrounded by terraces."Seven Stars" refers to the seven hills that were left behind when the sky was opened. The seven hills are stacked in the center of the seven fields. From a distance, they look like seven twinkling stars, guarding the curved part of the dragon's spine.Because of the existence of the "Five Tigers of Kowloon" and "Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon", Ping An Terraces is as beautiful as a broom pastoral. Walking into the this rice terraces,you will see the slopes are filled with overlapping terraces that go straight to the sky.The ring-shaped mountain that stretches looks like a huge dragon.

Longji Rice Terraces
it's a full day tour. pick you up at your hotel lobby in Guilin city center at 8:30am. take two-hour to drive, you will reach the entrance of Longji rice Terraces Scenic Area . First stop will be at Huang Luo Yao minority Village. we will let you stop in this village to see local pole and railing style wooden stilted buildings for about a quarter of an hour, Walking into this village, you seem to hear the echoes of history, Feel the vicissitudes of time. Afterwards, take 20 minutes to drive, you will see the highlights which is PingAn rice, and you will enjoy about 3 hours short hiking tour in the rice field. En-route you will appreciate the fascinating view of the rice terraces. The terraces are still used for growing premium quality rice by Yao and Zhuang villagers. this time will be at 2pm. after an hour of lunch ,we will take you back to your hotel from rice terraces, it also take 2 hours to drive back as well, and this time will be at 6pm. Admission Ticket charge CNY80 per person.

5.00I had an absolutely wonderful experience on this private tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region. The rice terraces were breathtaking, and the Dazhai area was incredibly beautiful even in March, with a unique charm and peaceful atmosphere. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. The tour was very well organized, and I especially appreciated how my request for a longer hike was fully accommodated. This made the experience even more memorable, allowing me to truly immerse myself in the stunning landscapes. The visit to the Yao women’s long hair show was another highlight for me—I found it both fascinating and culturally enriching. I also want to highlight the excellent service throughout the day. The private tour was conducted in a new and very comfortable car, and Jackie—who was both my driver and guide—was extremely professional, kind, and attentive. He drove very safely, which made me feel relaxed at all times, and went above and beyond to ensure everything matched my expectations. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish.

5.00Jerry is a very passionate tour guide with many of years of experience in the industry. The tour might seem pricey compared to other offers, but if you think it’s private tour, the deal is pretty good. When I say private, I means that if you’re travelling on your own like me, the tour still runs for you only. The tour covers impressive sceneries across the mountain area of Longshan, including some ethnic minorities villages. I’ve been in January, so most of the businesses were closed, bit guaranteed a much more relaxed experience in terms of crowds. The hike is not particularly hard if you’ve a basic fitness level, although includes several steps climbing up. Even it wasn’t the right season, the rice field offered beatiful scenarios and relatively warm weather. Room for improvement I would probably include in the fee the admission fee and the lunch, to be more competitive with the price and guarantee a more hassle-free and smooth experience for the travellers.

5.00Jerry was a wonderful guide! He provided a lot of insightful information on the rice terraces and history of the area. We also got to see the Huangluo Yao Long Hair show and tried some fresh passion fruit. The hike was beautiful! Would highly recommend.

5.00Glad I arranged this personal tour with Jerry ahead of the trip! A private tour by car was the best and most comfortable way to get to the Longli rice terraces and surrounds in order to get the most of a trip to Guilin. I appreciated that I was able to customize some of the day based on the needs and interests of my group (travelled with someone with mobility impairment). Guide was really super familiar with all the tourist attractions around Guilin/Yangshou and it improved the experience. Would recommend.

5.00Jerry was so kind and customized our experience, to adjust for the weather (pouring down with rain) and specific interests. When I told him I specifically planned to travel at the time of Osmanthus blossom and was disappointed that the weather circumstances delayed that, he spontaneously added to the day a trip to an Osmanthus museum, with an interesting guided visit. He was very patient with my 78 years old mum taking the steps up to the viewing points. We very much appreciated the information he shared about the attractions we visited. And the magic he does to find parking places - unbelievable. Totally recommend his services, it feels like travelling with a friend.
