We will depart from Krakow and travel to the hike starting point (approx 1h 30 minutes) in the Gorce Mountains. Before starting the trip, you will be given an introduction to the snowshoeing technique, so no previous experience is required. Then we will hike to one of mountain shelters in Gorce, choosing the hiking route length and difficulty based on experience and physical fitness of the group. The hike duration will depend on snow conditions and is estimated to take up to 5 hours. In the middle of the trip, we will make a short stay in the mountain shelter for a meal and some rest. Finally, after arriving back to the parking lot, where we have left our car, we will depart back to Krakow. Note, that you will need hiking equipment for this trip, i.e. good hiking boots, backpack, warm and wind protective clothes, food, water, headlamp, boot gaiters, trekking poles, mini-crampons and snowshoes. The detailed list of recommended equipment will be provided in advance. Trekking poles, snowshoes and mini-crampons will be provided free of charge.
