There are 3 kinds of tickets for Tianmen Mountain: A, B and C. If you book this tour with us at least 5 days in advance, we will book the route A or B for you, while, in holidays, tickets always sell out quickly, so we cannot guarantee. Route C will sometimes be reserved to ensure your entry.
You will start this tour in the afternoon if you want to enjoy the night light show on the top of Tianmen Mountain, and only Ticket A & C tickets are available.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Our tour guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, pay a visit to Tianmen Mountain. Regarded as the soul of Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. The views include graceful ancient trees, karst hillocks and long roads that are carved from the sides of the cliff. The cablecar takes approximately 30 minutes from the city center to the mountain top and is the longest one in the world. The most popular attractions on the top of mountain are Heaven Gate, Glass Skywalk, 99 Bend Road and so on. Note: You will start this tour in the afternoon if you want to enjoy the night light show on the top of Tianmen Mountain, and only Ticket A & C tickets are available.

5.00I would highly recommend booking any tour with this company! We booked 2 private tours through them, being this one for the first day and the second day to Avatar Mountains. We also had a half day on our third day before our flight, and they helped us arrange an additional tour which wasn’t shown online to really make the most of our time in Zhangjiajie. The most special part is that they assigned us the same tour guide, Wendy for all 3 days. Wendy took care of all the planning and booking all of the tickets. All we had to do was show up and we had absolutely no stress. Wendy allowed us to enjoy every day at our own pace and never made us feel rushed when we stopped for food, photos, etc. If you are coming to Zhangjiajie and want to make the most of your time in a stress free way, please book through this company!

5.00Had an amazing 3 day tour with Hanna! She offered the perfect balance of leading us while also giving us space to explore on our own. I appreciated how kind and knowledgeable she was. Extremely sweet tour guide who went above and beyond, even offering us a welcome and parting gift! I would highly recommend requesting Hanna as your Tourguide if you decide to book this tour! In addition, I wanted to shout out Jason, who planned our tour for us. I follow him on Rednote, and he was extremely helpful in planning the perfect trip. He also helped me book tours at other cities and even booked our train tickets and hotel for us! I feel so lucky that I found him on social media so that we were able to have this great experience. 5.00Hanna was an amazing tour guide! We really enjoyed our time with her. She was so helpful, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She recommended the best local food - everything was delicious! Hanna also knew all the best tips and hidden gems in every tourist area we visited. I'm so thankful she was our guide. From beginning to end, she made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. She truly deserves 5 stars!

5.00Our custom 3-day adventure in Zhangjiajie with Dora was truly memorable. From exploring the stunning Avatar Mountains to walking across the glass bridge, every moment was made better by Dora’s knowledge and thoughtful guidance. She was friendly, easy to communicate with, and very attentive to our needs and energy levels—adapting the route perfectly whenever we wanted to take it easy (like using the escalators) or stay adventurous. She also went the extra mile to help us order vegetarian meals—which we struggled to do on our own—and made sure we got great seats for the Fairy Fox show in town. Dora took many wonderful photos of our family throughout the trip and shared them with us afterward, along with some lovely handmade photo gifts that were such a thoughtful surprise. The van was clean and comfortable, and the driver was excellent. We really appreciated Dora’s flexibility, attention to detail, and warmth, and we’d happily tour with her again.

5.00Taking the 7.5km long cable car up to the summit of the Tianmen mountain provided a very good view of surrounding scenery and the 99-bend road. We were guided by our very friendly and engaging tour guide, Vicky Liu, through the tour of Tianmen mountain and the glass plank walk along the mountain cliff. Though we did not get to try out the 999 steps up to the Heavenly Gate of the Tianmen mountain because of rain, it was overall a very interesting experience to see the beauty of nature. The light-up at the 72 Tower building in the evening was beautiful as we got to see the traditional Tujia ethnic minority culture through its ethnic- style street and stilted architecture.

5.00We had spent two wonderfull days exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, including the incredible Avatar Mountains and the Tianmen Mountain guided by all our amazing guide Eva. From the beginning of the tour Eva made everything easy and enjoyable. She took care of every detail by explaining the history of each place and by providing the required support to get a comfortable stay. Her deep knowledge of the mountains was impressive and she could answer any question 😜 Eva’s personality was amazing and it makes the experience unforgettable. She is passionate, cheerful, and full of positive energy that instantly spread to us. Her enthusiasm made the journey even more magical. We would absolutely recommend Eva to anyone planning to visit Zahngjiajie. I She is without a doubt the best guide in Zhangjiajie!
