Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
It is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province which was officially recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992. The pillar-like formation seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion. With over 90% forest coverage, the scenic area comprises Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream and Wulongzhai. The minority culture and folklores are represented in nearby villages and towns, inhabited by Tujia, Bai, Miao and Hui people, making worthwhile side trips.
BaiLong Elevator
It is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the sandstone peak forest. It has a height of 326 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the three transparent elevators. It only takes 88 seconds to travel to the top of the mountain.

5.00We did a private tour with Wendy for two people and I can say is WOW! Wendy went above and beyond what’s expected for the tour and was very knowledgeable about Zhangjiajie National Park. She also took us to a local spot to view the Avatar Mountain which was a treat! Wendy even went as far as to drop us off at a different location per our request because we wanted to eat at a spot in the city center area. Overall I would book again - her English was well spoken and it was easy to communicate with her.

5.00We did the private tour with Wendy and all I can say is WOW! Her level of professionalism and knowledge about Zhangjiajie National Park was next level and she went above and beyond our expectations. Wendy picked us up from our hotel and took us to all the areas part of the tour and even showed us a local spot that was jaw dropping! Overall I would recommend booking this tour!

5.00I had the most amazing time at Zhangjiajie National Park. It was rainy and cold but the views were even more mystical and Zoe made it sunny with her warm, fun, and kind presence. I wish I was staying longer and could book a tour with Zoe again!

5.00We had the best time at Zhangjiajie thanks to this tour. The national park and glass bridge were phenomenal. Our tour guide Lucia was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond in making sure the trek was comfortable and fun. She also helped us with an unrelated flight issue over the phone as our Mandarin translator 😅. Thank you Lucia and team for an exciting day! We highly recommend this tour.

5.00The tour was an amazing experience and Lucia in particular was a fantastic guide! She knew exactly where to go, took a ton of great photos for us, and coordinated a tasty yet reasonably priced lunch. She also went above and beyond as a translator when I was having issues with a domestic airline that didn’t have an English speaker, and she was invaluable for making sure everything went smoothly. 10/10 would do again!!!

5.00What an amazing tour! My incredible guide, Amy, went above and beyond to ensure it was an easy and enjoyable experience. She was very knowledgeable about Zhangjiajie and the forest and knew all the great spots for photos! I'm so glad I booked my own guide otherwise I would have been lost on the day and she gave me some great tips afterwards about a wonderful show to watch in the evening. Definitely worth it to have a private guide rather than go with a large group as I felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend this tour company.

5.00Dora was an amazing guide. She arrived at my hotel early and made the day very easy. It eas raining a lot of tbe day however her knowledge helped us visit places in a great order to make the most of the views and changing fog. I was a little worried because of the weather, but in many places the shifting rain clouds added to the atmosphere. Dora even held out an umbrella for me throughout the day. Allowing me both hands to take photos. If you’re concerned about tbe weather if in a rainy season, don’t be.
