What To Expect

Napa Lake Grasslands

Our English tour guide and experienced driver will pick you up from your hotel. Start your journey in Shangei-La. Your first stop is Napa Lake, a seasonal wetland embraced by snow-capped mountains and sweeping grasslands. Depending on the time of the year, you will encounter colorful wildflowers in spring, flocks of black-necked cranes in winter, or golden-hued reflections in autumn, making it a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers.

Next, journey to the Balagezong Scenic Area, often referred to the real-life Shambhala. Begin in Bala Village, a thousand-year-old Tibetan settlement known for its ancient stone dwellings, vibrant prayer flags and taste authentic Tibetan food such as buttered tea and tsamba. Continue to the Balagezong Grand Canyon, where towering cliffs and lush forests create a dramatic backdrop. Test your courage on the glass skywalk, a thrilling platform suspended over the canyon, and enjoy panoramic views that stretch far into the distance.
