Shiga Kogen

Arrive at one of the ski resorts (Including Shiga Kogen) chosen by our staff based on the snow condition of the day. Our staff member will distribute and activate your lift passes, and help you unload equipment from the bus, and point out any necessary information. Those who booked lessons will move with the our staff member to the reception office for the ski school. Those who did not book lessons can go to the slopes as they wish.

We booked a ski trip from Nagano, a professional and careful guide and driver to help us to arrange all the equipment to the coach, and also give us a lot of practical advice, to chat in the car and share Japanese life and culture, so that we are very happy to play this day's trip, very great team, also especially thank you-Orlando❤️

I would like to thank Luka, who was very friendly and helpful despite my limited knowledge of the language. She guided us all the way to the ski slopes, giving us all the necessary instructions. The ski facilities are truly beautiful, and the rented equipment was of excellent quality. It was an extraordinary experience — a day I will never forget. Definitely something I would love to do again. Thank you, Snow Monkey Resorts!

Had a blast! Everything was convenient, the gear was great, their office location just near the station, and transportation was seamless. Shout out to Kevin, Nadine, and Shawn -- they are awesome people, incredibly helpful and shared the best recommendations. Ended up coming back multiple times. Highly recommend!

One day trip to the ski resort to meet the ski instructor to learn the basics for skiing. The guide and instructor were very friendly and patient. All ski equipments were provided and fitted at the snow monkey resort office near the train station before heading to the resort for the lesson. The resort that was chosen that day by the company was not very crowded, good for beginners to learn.

Had a great time, Orlando took very good care of us! Was super easy to book and get a fun day of skiing in, left from Tokyo in the morning and spent ~6+ hours on the mountain. 本当にお世話になりました！ありがとうございました！またお願いします！ ✅⛷️

We did the ski tour with Shawn, he was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and a great person to chat too. We also had Mr Fujisawa as a driver, he was great, the ride was smooth and my kids that get motion sickness experienced none of that even on the windy roads.

Kevin was so considerate and was very attentive to ensure that everyone was ok throughout the day. Kevin even came to check up on us on the mountain. He was great when our bindings needed adjusting waiting till we were eating lunch so it didn't affect our ski time. I couldn't praise him more. This is our 3rd tour with company and everytime has been great. Thoroughly recommend the business.

What a lovely day on the slopes. We were very lucky to get a bluebird day. The tour guide was a nice lady. She made sure we were all getting looked after. All the snow gear supplied was very good too.

I had an amazing 2-day ski trip with Snow Monkey Resorts. From start to finish, everything was very well organized, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I decided to switch from snowboarding to skiing on the second day, and they handled it effortlessly, making sure everything was arranged without any issues. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the trip. A special thank you to our guides, Orlando and Joyce — they truly made the experience unforgettable. They were professional, fun, and made sure we had a great time both days. I highly recommend Snow Monkey Resorts for anyone looking for a well-run and enjoyable ski experience.

We did the full day with lesson ski trip, I have gone skiing a few times as a kid and my partner hadn’t skied at all since today. The pickup was super straightforward and the rental gear was very comfortable. Joyce was so kind and friendly and took the time to teach us a bit about Japan and really broke the ice for the tour group. The lesson Harrison gave us was amazing, he really made us feel confident and comfortable!! Overall this was a great way to spend a day skiing where we didn’t need to organise rentals, passes and transport ourselves and I would recommend to anyone visiting Japan!!
