Most distillery tours are simply dressed-up tasting flights with a quick trip past the equipment, guided by someone with very little understanding of their spirits and how they are made.

At Ferino Distillery, whether your tour is guided by owner and master distillery Joe Cannella or by one of our deeply trained staff members, you are sure to enjoy a more intimate experience, learning the personal connection behind Cannella's family history and its intersection with the ancient origins of flavored spirits in Southern Italy.

In short, this is not your typical vodka / gin / whiskey distillery - come with a sense of adventure and you'll leave with some great memories - and perhaps some liquid mementos!

This was a great experience. There was a ton of history, information, and of course great alcohol. This is a place that it's not just a distillery but a true place of education and a local watering hole. We could talk right away that it had it's regulars that now it's changing and always updating drink offerings. They are not just the normal drink offerings though. The cinnamon old fashioned was fantastic. It was prefect quiet honestly. Not over powering or too sweet. This is a must do of you're an or of towner as it is within waking distance of most of the hotels in Reno. If you're local? You should go. I'm pretty sure you'll become a regular. And yes, we bought some bottles to take with us.

One of the best if not the best so far tours that I have experienced. The bartender/tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His presentation made me want to buy every spirit that was presented to us. Looking forward to seeing your product in my local area very soon

Daniel was amazing! Made the tour fun and personal! Just ordered a few bottles to make some lazy espresso martinis at home! Will be back next time I'm in Reno, and I'll bring a bigger bag so I can take some bottles home!

Amazing staff!! And it wasn't just whiskey that we tasted. I don't normally like gin, but even that was great! They also offer a gin class where you can make your own bottle of gin. That's happening on the next trip!

Joe Cannella was a wonderful host and tour guide. He explained the origins of the distillery name as well as his own history (Cannella means "cinnamon" in Italian - his family came from Sicily). His spirits were unusual and very flavorful, and the cocktails were delicious! Our fellow guests were a group of firemen from Hawaii-- we had such a blast! We highly recommend the tour. We will definitely be back.
