  What a gift to receive for Christmas ! The experience was breathtaking, from the friendly and professional reception by Lloyd, to the flight and the fantastic art deco surroundings of the airport building. The Hummingbird cafe (a must visit even if flying is not your thing, great food staff and surroundings) is the place to wait and meet up whilst grabbing some refreshments. This is the first time I have flown in an open cockpit, what a difference from a fixed wing aircraft or helicopters. The gyro copter just feels at one with the environment. The view of this area of natural beauty is enhanced by this mode of travel as we made our way along the coast via Brighton, Newhaven,Seaford, Burling gap and Beachy head. Then back over the South Downs over Cuckmere Country Park and the Amex stadium to the airport. Lloyd gave clear and concise descriptions and demonstrations of the aircrafts capabilities and characteristics during our journey, and was a very safe pair of hands at the helm. This is a great opportunity for anybody who loves the thrill of flying in a totally unique way, across some of the most evocative scenery in the UK.

  I booked the 1 hour gyroflight for my dad. It was a special gift from the family for his 80th birthday. He absolutely loved it. Lloyd was brilliant, he made the flight such an amazing experience. My dad loved the route along the south coast, the views were exceptional. He could not stop smiling afterwards and is now planning his next aviation adventure! Thank you so much Lloyd! 😊😊

  The Gyroplane was a great experience. Very different way to fly compared to your usual holiday flights. But felt very safe and secure. Lloyd, the pilot was very reassuring and gave a comprehensive safety briefing. Fantastic views from about 1000ft up of the country side and local towns. The airport is a lovely art deco building that harks back to a bygone era when flying was something special.

  

  

  

• A Wonderful and Thrilling Flight

  Had the most wonderful one hour flight over the Sussex country side in a Gyrocopter. The most memorable trip on a perfect day to view the South Downs, the famous white chalk cliffs and the coast line from Newhaven to Brighton from above. So relaxing and peaceful. This was because I felt so secure after my safety briefing and the caring and professional manner of my pilot Lloyd who explained exactly what to expect. Being in an open cockpit was just thrilling and felt a true adventure. Would highly recommend and the best birthday present ever!

  If you are looking for a unique experience that I guarantee none of your friends have tried, then I can totally recommend a Gyrocopter flight over Brighton and the South Coast. It is honestly an experience I won't forget. I’ll admit I was a little nervous at first, but Lloyd was brilliant. He took the time to explain how safe the gyrocopter is and walked me through what to expect, which completely put me at ease. Once we were in the air, any nerves disappeared. The feeling of flying in a gyrocopter is so different from a plane—it feels much more open and immersive. It's like riding a motor bike in the sky! The views were spectacular. Seeing Brighton from that vantage point is unforgettable; we had a perfect view of the iconic Piers, and flying over the Amex football stadium was a massive bonus. If you’re a football fan or just want to see the city from a new angle, this is the way to do it. Thanks again, Lloyd, for a safe and thrilling flight.

  This really is an amazing experience. Lloyd is an exceptional pilot and does everything possible to make it unique to you. As the aircraft has duel controls I was given the opportunity to have a go at flying it.  Shoreham airport is nicely located with stunning scenery around the area, viewing it from an open cockpit aircraft was incredible. There's a great cafe/restaurant on Airport that's also dog friendly, so any family or friends who go with you can watch from inside or outside the cafe and have a great view of the airfield. I would highly recommend Lloyd and this experience.

  My family wanted to give me a memorable experience for my 80th birthday. I chose an hour's flight with Lloyd in his wondrous aircraft. The flight exceeded my high expectations. Thank you Lloyd for your kindness and great expertise. You gave me so many delightful memories. Highly recommended!

  I organised the gyrocopter flight as a birthday present for my brother. Well, all I did was ring Lloyd and book it with him, easy. When I told my brother, he was thrilled at the thought, but said, You know it's way out of my comfort zone! Lloyd is great, he met us at Shoreham er sorry Brighton City Airport and went through safety checks with Tony whilst I waited having a coffee in the bar/restaurant. They were soon ready for the off, I took some photos of them on the tarmac and watched them take off and fly into the distance. When they landed back in Shoreham Lloyd took photos of Tony with the Gyrocopter, which he kindly forwarded to us. I took some more photos of Tony with the warm outfit and helmet he wore for the flight (provided). They will be a fitting reminder of what Tony tells me is his :- The Best Birthday Present Ever! Thank you so much Lloyd. Barb And from Tony he says:- As a first time flyer, Lloyd made me feel confident. The whole experience was wonderful, I recommend it to everyone. Thanks.

  Fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it.The unobstructed views of the coast and the South downs where absolutely breathtaking. Lloyd the pilot was very accommodating as to what route to take the gyrocopter and made the whole trip a memorable one.
