Hermes II is an old boat with modern technology and facilities. Among other things, it has a heated lounge, a bar and toilets below deck.

5.00My husband and I did the 1 hour trip. There was only one other couple on the boat so it felt like a private excursion. The guides were really friendly and knowledgeable about Tromsø and the surrounding areas. It was a perfect mix of scenery and history. The boat is beautiful too! Highly recommend.

5.00The highlight of our holiday so far. The crew of Hermes II were obviously engaged in a labour of love in looking after and restoring such a beautiful craft to its full glory. We spent a comfortable, enjoyable, informative, engaging and fun hour with guys who took the time to explain the history of the boat and of the harbour. We booked following a recommendation from previous guests and we would definitely recommend this trip and boat to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Tromso.

5.00Very nice people, friendly and informative. Beautiful ship!!! Comprehensive description of the history of this boat up to the last renovation. The mooring and unmooring maneuvers are also very exciting. Would do this and longer trips again.

5.00We had such a great time on Hermes II. This is an amazingly well preserved 1917 boat that does three different tours - a 1hr tour, a 2.5 hr your, and a 4.5hr fishing and sightseeing tour. Because of our available time, we opted for the 1 hr tour. The boat is very conveniently docked right in the center of town - very easy to finds and access. The crew is fabulous!!! They took the time to ensure we had an excellent cruise - and they are so friendly and expert. The boat is quite stable and in perfect condition - it was a real joy to go out and sightsee. Highly recommended!!!

5.00Had a fun and fact filled morning with the crew on board Hermes II. I felt particularly special as I was the only person with them that morning so I got treated like royalty. Particularly impressed that they ran the tour for one person! Would thoroughly recommend

5.00This was a wonderful introduction to Tromso and being able to see the city from the water. The sun came out and gave us a picturesque setting. Highly recommend if you want to learn about Tromso, the history, and have beautiful views! It was perfect.

5.00Fantastic time with Truls and Frode on Hermes II. Frode was a brilliant captain and Truls an amazing and fun host, with so much interesting knowledge on the ships history and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this beautiful cruise with wonderful hospitality plus stunning views!

5.00That was a very nice hour on the water! A wonderful over 100 year old ship, quite small group, super nice care, some history lessons, answering all questions and a hot cocoa. Great panorama, we also had really great weather, bright sunshine, but minus 10 degrees. So: warm up! In case of need, thermal suits are kept ready, as are wool blankets. Highly recommended!
