After a scenic flight around the lower levels of the seaward Kaikoura ranges, land at a secluded landing site. Our picnic offers spectacular views of the Kaikoura township and Peninsula. On a fine day, you can look North along the coastline to spot Wellington and South to Banks Peninsula.

We did the helicopter picnic and landed on the snow topped ridge of the southern alps. Such incredible views and a wonderful platter of food was supplied with a bottle of rose. Our pilot was great and we were lucky enough to do a quick sweep over the ocean to spot a whale on the way back. Definitely a must do for anyone’s travel/ experience bucket list
