This tour departs strictly on time. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or no-shows under any circumstances, including prior notification. Please allow plenty of time for travel to the meeting point.
No takeout available. For food safety, all sushi and lunch boxes must be consumed on-site and cannot be taken to go.
We will try to accommodate allergy-related requests, though it may not be possible.
Services not listed (For example : Extra food and drinks, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transportation to/from attractions) are not included in the tour.
Unfortunately, we do not accommodate Kosher requests.
Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian) in advance. We may not be able to accommodate same-day requests.
We are located on the "3rd floor" of the building that Sushi restaurant "Sushizanmai Bekkan" (Annex). Directions: To the right side of the building, you will find a narrow pathway leading to the elevator. Please take the elevator up to the 3rd floor.
!!!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!!! * There are several Sushizanmai locations in Tsukiji. Please make sure you are at the "Bekkan" building! * This tour is completely independent and not affiliated with the Sushizanmai restaurant. Please do not ask the restaurant staff for directions or questions regarding this tour.

5.00Really great experience! We were able to find the class although it was tricky, they had proactively sent info to help us figure it out. The hostess and sushi master’s English was great! Quality ingredients and very informative! And it was a family-friendly activity for us! Two thumbs up for us!

5.00I’m a quarter Japanese and this is my first time visiting Japan. This place was a great find for me to experience the local culture.The staff were very kind and helpful throughout the session. What I enjoyed most was getting to use fresh ingredients from the Tsukiji Market and high-quality Japanese kitchen tools. It felt like a solid, authentic experience run by the local community rather than just a typical tourist spot.

5.00I was able to make the best sushi bento! It was my first time making sushi, but I really enjoyed it because the instructions were so kind and easy to follow! The cherry blossom-patterned bento box was also beautiful—it truly captured the cuteness of Japanese style, and I loved it!

5.00This was such an awesome and compact 70-minute sushi-making experience, including the meal! Not only did we make sushi, but we also created a traditional sushi bento box, which was a really unique and memorable experience for all of us. I’ve had sushi in Japan before,—this is my second visit— but never a bento box and especially not one I made myself! A must-do in Tokyo!

I was surprised to go there, and of course I had sushi cooking taught carefully, and there were also explanations of sushi tools and an introduction to the Tsukiji market. I thought it would be easier for children and women to participate because the bar was lower.
