Should you get to spot them up in the tree, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, you will continue to the accommodation at the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience tomorrow.

Hello, We were 2 friends and we personalized the tour by adding 1 day to Mabamba Wetlands (to see the Nile Hoofbill), and an extra day of gorilla trekking - 14 days and 13 nights. Thank you to Derrick and Hedmond who took care of our reservation before our arrival and are super responsive. On site, our driver Danny was exceptional: very good advice, good driving, always smiling, dynamic and we had a wonderful stay thanks to him. Uganda is a beautiful country, the scenery, the animals, and the people are amazing and this agency is trustworthy!

I had an unforgettable safari experience in Uganda with this company. Everything was perfectly organized and delivered with warm hospitality. Visiting Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see the rhinos up close was incredible, and trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas was truly the highlight of my trip. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, making every game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park both exciting and educational. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable adventure in Uganda.

An Unforgettable Experience! Our gorilla trek in Uganda With Anemel tours was truly the adventure of a lifetime. The guides and trackers were absolutely incredible—knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about conservation. The hike through the lush rainforest was breathtaking on its own, and the moment we finally came face-to-face with the gorillas was beyond words. Watching these gentle giants interact in their natural habitat was moving and humbling. Everything was well organized, from the permits to the briefing and the trek itself, and we always felt safe and cared for. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter. Uganda is truly magical! Thank you Joseph Lubega

We had a fantastic experience - Home to Africa was able to customize our travel to accommodate a different pickup (Kasese after Rwenzori trekking- also highly recommended) and drop off point and add in chimpanzee trekking and arrange for gorilla habituation (4 hours with the gorillas) to our itinerary to make it a 4-day trip. Communication was easy and the package they put together was wonderful every step of the way. Our tour guide Derrick was also outstanding- great getting to know him over the four days and learn about life growing up in southwestern Uganda. He was very knowledgeable about everything we saw and helped us find lots of animals in Queen Elizabeth, including lions. Finally, the gorilla trekking was truly once-in-a lifetime. Amazing to spend time so close to such majestic creatures. Overall would highly recommend booking with Home to Africa for gorilla trekking and other travels in Uganda!

We enjoyed the 3 day Uganda gorilla trek with Home to Africa. The drive was very long, but enjoyed the scenery and being able to see western Uganda. We stayed at Ride 4 Women which is a great cause to help empower women in the area. Also stayed at Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort (a little primitive, but great views). Seeing the gorillas (in a private tour, not sure how we managed that, but it was wonderful) was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was good and kept us safe.

A friend and I enjoyed this tour so much - from the gracious hospitality shown by our driver, Eli, to the lodging at Ride4AWoman the first night, and ultimately the experience of spending an hour with a gorilla family in Bwindi Forest. From start to finish, it was a fascinating and enriching experience as much for the cultural exposure to the gorilla-trekking itself. The ride from Entebbe/Kampala is long (~11 hours each way) but the hours passed pleasantly as Eli answered all our questions as we passed through different towns and the scenery changed. We were very well taken care of, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it. Crossing so much of Uganda by car and meeting so many welcoming and generous people along the way makes me deeply appreciate this pearl of Africa.

We went to the Bwindi park in January. It was an incredible experience and a long drive from Kampala was worth it. Seeing gorillas in their natural habitat was beautiful. I want to thank the staff and particularly our driver Uzaima for his patience, knowledge and very interesting conversations.
