  Our experience in Ghana was much more than a family vacation. It was an experience of a lifetime that we will carry in our hearts forever. Nana Preston and his team with Freelancenanatravels did an exceptional job taking care of us. From the moment we stepped off the plane, from the moment we left. We felt safe, cared for, like we were family. We traveled with a family of 13, including my immediate family of my husband and two college age kids. Our stay was jammed packed with adventures and when I tell you this team knows how to have fun!! They had this old lady worn out! We laughed, cried, danced, sang, laughed some more and slept very little😆. As any vacation goes , everything does not go as expected. This is when you are able to truly see the character and professionalism of the company you are using. Several of us caught a stomach bug during the trip. Nana and his team made sure we got VIP care from the local clinic, and handled all the administrative matters while we got well. This was truly above and beyond, and totally unexpected..and the whole time with nothing but smiles, love and professionalism from his team. You just don’t get this kind of service from any tour company. They are SPECIAL and servants of God. We were all feeling well in no time, and even with that bump in the road, somehow we didn’t miss a beat in the activities front!   I booked a cultural heritage tour, and traveled to Ghana with my family. I knew that I was traced back to Ghana and the Akan tribe. I knew many facts about our history and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. But….God sent Nana Preston and the entire FreelanceNana Travels team to literally guide me through this trip physically, but more importantly, spiritually. I’m from a large family. We love hard and we discern hearts. We don’t easily allow people into our hearts or family, it must be earned…or ordained by God. This team walked into our hearts on Day 1! What they did for us and me, in particular, was way more than a job, it was a labor of love. People keep asking, “How was your trip? How do you feel?” My response, consistently, has been…”full” This team anticipated my every need, many times without my outward expression! I’m forever grateful to know and love this team, my family. This has been a life-altering experience. I laughed…cried, laughed, cried and laughed some more. I count it all joy!   Wow!! Trying to put into words what this Ghana Love trip has meant to me, is so terribly difficult. As most of you know I travel quite frequently, in the US and abroad, but I have never had a tour company that worked within their individual gifts like Freelancenana . Nana Preston has brought together a PHENOMENAL team of caring, compassionate, funny, energetic, and patient people! As the time drew near for us to say our goodbyes there were genuine tears shed, because we have become family! We bonded day one, even before receiving our Ghanaian names and assuming our rightful spots back into the family! Now the plane hasn't even lifted up and I'm already planning to return!   I recently visited Ghana and traveled with the Freelance Nana Travel team. I have traveled to many countries and this trip was hands down the best travel experience I've had! From start to finish, the trip was impeccably organized. The activities and excursions were thoughtfully planned and varied, offering a great mix of cultural exploration, history and nature. Nana and his team were exceptional! Their love and passion for Ghana is palpable. They were not only highly professional, but also incredibly warm, friendly, caring and accommodating. Every step of the way, they ensured that all our needs were met, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the trip.   This trip to Ghana was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of its success is thanks to Nana and his phenomenal team: Michael (Professor), Onassis, Prince, Stylist, Arrow, …….and the Ladies. Each one of them brought something special to the experience. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly organized, with an accommodating and easygoing demeanor that made every moment enjoyable. Their deep knowledge of Ghana’s history and culture enriched my life’s journey in ways I will never forget. I was invited on the trip by my sister. From the moment we landed, everything was seamless. With a group of over 24 people, every detail was thoughtfully planned, and we were warmly received and catered to. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone was comfortable. They do check-ins to make sure all was well! Cultural Immersion and Entertainment This trip was full of unique experiences that brought Ghana’s vibrant culture to life. we explored a variety of incredible places that showcased the country’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty. We even shopped for fabric to create self designed custom-made attire for the naming ceremony—a truly special and personal touch. Being dressed in our custom-made outfits and experiencing this meaningful tradition was an honor. It was a moment that truly connected me to Ghana’s rich heritage and the warm, welcoming people who made us feel like family. The accommodations were amazing! Great job! Tasty Food…. The food was a treat for the senses—rich, flavorful, and diverse. Each meal gives a taste of Ghana’s culinary heritage. Some experienced going to the bustling market to shop for fresh ingredients, which they help prepared and we enjoyed an amazing local cuisine… Ghana family style!!!! This trip was a perfect blend of history, culture, adventure, and relaxation. Nana and his team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable!!!!! If you’re considering a trip to Ghana, don’t hesitate to explore with Nana and his team. This is an experience that will stay with me for a lifetime.   I had the privilege of being one of 24 tourist from the United States visiting Ghanna for my very first time. I must admit I really did not know what to expect since I had never travel out of my country. Nana and his team at Freelancenanatraveks made this trip an unforgettable experience. It started with our pre-trip zoom calls where we were able to get all our questions answered and guided through the Visa process. Once we arrived his team made sure we felt welcomed, safe, comfortable and well fed. We were guided on a journey through history, culture and heritage by a very knowledgeable guide who had a deep passion for his work. We had a complete balance of learning experiences, fun and relaxation. We came as tourist and left as family. I highly recommend booking with them.

  This trip was truly life changing. My son and I learned so much! The history is rich and the sights majestic.   The success of a tour usually begins with the first greeting. From our meeting at the airport, to a special call when we arrived home, Nana and his crew took the utmost care of us. The tour was AMAZING ...INFORMATIVE...FUN...ENTERTAINING... and emotional at times. We were fully immersed or should I say infused in the lives of the Ghanaian... NO SPOILERS HERE.. YOU MUST EXPERIENCE THIS TOUR YOURSELF! Thanks to Professor Micheal, protectors, Joey, Arrow, and the rest of the guys, Prince the life of the party, and of course the ladies. In a effort to keep things short I will point out the following: From the planning of the trip to the ending, Nana and his team displayed professionalism, patience, flexibility, and was very accommodating. I traveled with a group of 24, and the team showed a concern for all of our needs. The knowledge shared as we traveled was impeccable. The warmth and true concern was evident throughout the trip.   I can't begin to express how awesome it was touring Ghana with Freelancenana Travel and Tours. The WHOLE team at Freelancenana is par excellence! They were attentive to our groups needs, extremely flexible and patient, ensured that we were always safe and comfortable, and most importantly warm, open and friendly. In summary, we arrived as "tourists" and left as family. The 10 day itinerary was perfectly curated! Each activity held deep cultural significance, opportunities to learn and interact, and have fun. I could go on about what an amazingly wonderful and blessed experience this tour was but I'll end with this. Come to Ghana, reconnect with our ancestors, and do it with Freelancenana Travel & Tours!
